From personal experience. A lack of communication can lead to arguments about crap that's unrelated to the real problem. So either work on communication (even if it hurts) or like Link said, agree it's not working out and end it. This was where my husband and I were at (we've been married for 23 yrs), we started communicating (yes, somethings did hurt) but we have been in a much better place than we were in yrs. The best advice I got that I believe helped us (mostly me) is "listen to listen and not to respond."

Cats don’t need to be convinced. They just need consistency and they communicate differently to dogs. Tail wagging means anger and squinting means love because they can’t make all the expressions a dog can. If you give a cat consistency, they will love you madly and greet you with excitement when you get home and cuddle up to you when you sit or lay down.

Link's right about the night owl thing. It's well established that people have different "internal clocks" and it's exactly the way that those people will feel most alert and be the most productive later in the day and later in the night, and forcing your clock to a morning person's clock is going to make you feel worse and do worse. That said, many careers and societal things require you to compromise to an extent almost regardless of what you do.

I asked ChatGPT... Q: Do people with longer legs naturally walk faster than people with shorter legs? A: Yes, people with longer legs tend to have a natural advantage in walking faster because they generally have a longer stride length. This allows them to cover more ground with each step, potentially resulting in a faster walking speed. However, walking speed is also influenced by factors such as fitness level, muscle strength, and walking technique, so leg length is not the only determining factor. Q: Do longer-legged people have to "work harder" to walk at a certain pace than people with shorter legs? A: Not necessarily. Longer-legged people typically take fewer steps to cover the same distance as shorter-legged people, so they may not have to "work harder" in terms of the energy required to walk at a given pace. In fact, their longer stride can make it easier for them to maintain a certain pace without exerting more effort. However, if both long- and short-legged people are walking at a pace that is outside their natural comfortable speed-whether faster or slower-both might feel an increased effort. For longer-legged people, walking slower than their natural stride might feel more awkward, while shorter-legged people might have to increase their step frequency to keep up with the same speed, which could feel like more work. But in general, leg length alone doesn't imply that one group works harder to maintain a certain pace. Q: What's the average height of olympic gold medal winners in speedwalking? A: The average height of Olympic gold medalists in speedwalking typically ranges between 5'8" (173 cm) and 6'0" (183 cm) for men, and around 5'4" (162 cm) to 5'8" (173 cm) for women. While height can play a role in stride length, success in speedwalking is also heavily influenced by technique, endurance, and overall fitness, so athletes of varying heights have won gold medals. Speedwalking requires precise form and adherence to rules, which are more crucial than height alone.

She's been through a lot in her life, only some of it documented. But she used to flinch when I tried to touch her, and think I was going to kick her. She warmed up to me pretty quickly, but nothing's changed her feeling that men are dangerous and to be hidden from.
