The rule of choosing less evil than bigger one can be used in another section of shariah but not on voting someone in democracy. No matter what happens, you are not allowed to vote someone who applies laws on people except Allah’s, as soon as you call yourself muslim. Be a muvahhid and takfeer these all taghuts and its group. Don’t obey to creatures, obey only to Allah subhanahu wa taala.

but what happens when you have two candidates in which one may cause harm to muslims and the other doesnt? you are already in a land without shariah, and in Islam it tells us to obey the laws of the land. You must do what is best for islam, if they cant legislate shariah, you cant change it otherwise

Brother we're living in non Muslim lands where Shariah doesn't exist. Whether the Muslim community votes or not will not change the system in the west. So why then shouldn't we try to maximize the good? Why should we let other people chose for us?

​@@serkankoldere brother , prophet Muhammad sw is also face the quite same situation when his uncle came to him and invite him to be the king of the meqqa, the mushirik of kuraish is only asking for not blaming their god and systems. They allow Muslim to do namaz in qaba, almost all personal ibadet and won't torture the Muslims anymore,But prophet Muhammad sw didn't accept it. It is quite similar to our situation now, they said come vote for your Muslim candidate let him rule you ,but with our law and systems. This is a game to force Muslim believe and accept the democratic system. They wanna make all Muslims country accept democratic islam (people decide the halal and haram not allah)that turns Muslim to Christian ,only do personal ibdat with out caring about the law of allah.

So with the 21 century begin they turn strategy .about 80 years Turkish military doesn't allow any Muslim candidate and islamic party and suddenly they allow it at the beginning of 21 century. Why? Kafir empathy for the Muslims? They think good for the Muslims ? Of course no! Allah Said in Qur'an they would never satisfied only we completely like them. So america try to spread this ideology to the all islamic world ,not only turkiye also misir(Egypt),but when these Muslims candidate attempt to Cross the red line (try applying shariyeh law) kafir will immediately get him down how ever. And Muslim really believe with democratic system and voting ,Muslims can easily established sheria without bleeding and prices ,like prophet Muhammad paid....

BarakAllahu feekum. Many muslims in the west,especially the younger generation who is falling for extremist ideologies, need to hear this. Western governments are increasing the oppressing of their muslim citizens but we are just reclining on our couches at home waiting for things to change by themselves. Go and vote!

Voting means to be witness that the person is trusworthy in the society. In muslim countries it is possible to enquire about the piety of the candidat where as in the Western countries their ideology is nowhere near that of Islam and it is obvious now that gay marriages are legal and discriminating it is illegal. The nearest possible vote would be to candidate wanting to ban such marriages and protecting the conservatives and the religious.

@@soumayahumain He claims that if a Muslim follows the opinion that voting in darul kufr is haram, it makes them extreme. Sh. Karim made it clear that it is not a deeni obligation to vote. But the liberal "Muslims" say it is OBLOGATORY for the Muslims to vote for Biden who has Muslim blood on his hands.

@@holdshiftt2run308 because the elected people present numerous matters to treat during their term and they are not usually all halal matters. Lately peopke are advocacing abortion stating that peopke only have to take a pill and not the old procedure. In my opinion it is still haram to take a pill or any other form to kill a foetus. Gay marriages and rights are also another issue, it's not only their rights as married gays but their obligations on the rest of society as you cannot ignore a gay person because they are gay and it is viewed as discriminatory.

How voting in any circumstances could ever be justified? Those who are vote for not simply solve the civic problems face by people rather they are part to legislative body having full privileges of enacting laws without any regard to Shariah. In brief, they have all set themselves rival to Allah & those who participate in elections are no doubt willingly accepted their Hukm (order/laws etc) over themselves. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers. Al Quran And of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides Allah as rivals (to Allah). They love them as they love Allah. But those who believe, love Allah more (than anything else). If only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is Severe in punishment. Al Quran

Its not about morals here that we are concerned with its the law making power. No doubt that the right to make laws is only Allah's and none can legislate and believing in this is kufr according to ijma. Then how can we vote in people to go to parliament and discuss what law they can make for the land? It doesn't make sense

Rulers can make common policies for the land as long as they are in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah. Allah SWT gave certain timeless laws and guidelines that an Islamic government has to follow but an Islamic government can discuss with one another to provide for the country in terms of permissible matters such as justified taxes, construction matters, etc.

Allah SWT did not write traffic laws for us but does that mean human beings can't establish them to maintain the safety of the people in a land? Of course not. Because they are in the realm of permissible matters. As long as any law does not go against Islam, then the government can establish it and the Muslims are obliged to obey it.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing akhi. If there are evil people trying to destroy Islam in the west and another that does not interfere with muslims, then voting for the latter would be more rational to preserve our madrasahs, schools and knowledge for the youth than doing nothing, because doing nothing helps the rise of evil.

@@emes6333 Thats not what I am saying. But sometimes voting is necessary in societies where Muslim are the minorities so they can continue their life peacefully. If a candidate says that he will destroy mosques and the other says that he won't you have to vote for the candidate that wont hurt the mosques to preserve Islam in that area.
