About Twice, it's not a character development for Hawks but for Toga, which in the manga she will seek till the last of his blood in a fight with Uraraka, nearly everything has a sense, Twice was a sacrifice that Dabi put into the line, so you could say Twice was more like wasted, because in the end, Hawks never had problems with the public and his image on the society, but heroes in general. It's not always about a character alone, sometimes it's bigger than it really seems. Another example could be Villains kidnapping Bakugo, they didn't really do anything to Bakugo, but in the very end, Bakugo was the end of All Might, and that's the moat perfect writing bnh had until today. In most of the point I agree with you, arcs are repetitive, too many characters I mean, they all are getting power ups every manga coming, but it's not the same.

6:30 this stuff reminds me of jojo's, every new part draws the sky differently which kind of reflects the story being written. it makes it 10 times better and more memorable because its color usage.

I haven't read the manga but I binged all 6 seasons in a week and had a great time except for season 5 being a little lackluster in my opinion and im excited for season 7, I think the main reason it feels rushed is because they didnt want it to turn into a Naruto or One piece type show just a theory tho

It’s clearly very inspired by stuff like Naruto, so idk if the author would have any issue with that. Could be a lot of reasons as to why it might be rushed, but my best guess is that the author is working with rough schedules

Issue 2 is kinda dumb because they’re in school. Of course they’d do school stuff like training. It’s quite literally in the name ACADEMIA. It was important enough to make the title which is why there’s an emphasis on it. Twice died because he was a national threat all by himself. It wasn’t for any character development but because he was too strong to leave alive. Tho it would’ve been nice if Hawks and the league actually mentioned his death. I’d agree that mha isn’t the best looking but also the seasons drop like near like near yearly. It doesn’t get the same type of waits between seasons like mob. I.e S1 2016 S2 2017 S3 2018 S4 2019-2020 S5 2021 S6 2022-2023 S7 2024 Also they turned the sky red when Stain gave his declaration

I don’t mind school stuff, but the issue is how much of it there is, especially when it kinda kills the pacing, feels very formulaic, and don’t always achieve very much. I don’t think it would be much to ask to tone down on it after seven seasons. And yeah they did turn the sky red and it rocked. That was back when more time and effort went into the show🙁

@@KumoBear12 honestly I don't think it kills the pacing. If anything it's weirder that the league keeps trying to attack a random high school class. Again, academia so so important to the series that it's in the title so you should expect it to be there. Plus since the end of season 5 it's basically been non existent. Personally I enjoy it because we actually see people grow and strengthen their abilities instead of people getting random new powers out of no where.

i still thinnk il's one of the best animes i've watched + in the 3rd ep of s7 we will know who is the UA traitor (no one will expect him) I don't read the manga but i had a conversation with a random girl and she spoiled

The complaint about the side characters is understandable. When it comes to the story being rushed, I personally disagree. I think each arc and event thus far has been a natural progression of things, a logical cause and effect without much corner cutting. Besides the spontaneous nature of Star’s arrival and the traitor reveal, every thing flows fine

Twice's death was a great scene and hits hard, it's a good death with 0 pay off as no one reacts to it. The death itself is great but more characters should react other than Toga. Toga Is hit hard and her reaction to Twice death is well.written but...where are the reactions for....everyone else?

Ngl im kind of shocked how lack luster last season was. In the manga it looked way more brutal but it seems the studio has toned it down to the fandom of pervert adults and small kids who dont even know whats going on. Its so annoying and the reason i really dislike how its animated as the studio had someone animate a amazing scene to make the villain arc better BUT NO they made it simple and really really unenjoyable to watch. It feels like the adaptation is being babied because thats how the fandom is. A bunch of incel babies who want teenagers and adults to have relationships or they want all of the main cast to be gay as they cant handle a single straight character and make them all gay or say they're queer coated or sum stupid like that.

@@tob3692 nah you right asf, i think that the fandom is totally the worst part about mha. its a shame because its overall a pretty good show i would say - if you're somebody who's into superpowers and fictional stuff like that - but things like putting mineta against ms midnight in one of the training arcs is perfect for those 40 y/o fandom discord mods

Trust me bro, as much as I want to agree with you about the films not being canon, sadly...they are. Hori confirmed it himself. I won't spoil any of you anime onlys, but things that's happened in the movies, have been seen in the chapters. But even with that being said, that's no excuse why the show can't get the same amount of level as quality as the films. The show is MORE canon than anything. Obviously. I REALLY DON'T WANT THEM TO DO THE 4TH MOVIE. But sadly, it's happening. For me, the first three seasons will always be masterpieces! And the Dabi being Toya reveal was amazing! After that, the series is a "Meh" to me. I still love My Hero. The final fight was good! Not amazing, but...good. I would still recommend My Hero to newcomers.

Lol the seasons after 3 are way better, if you're taking anime wise season 5 only dipped in quality for a bit. Other than that, season 3 doens't touch 4-6

He didn’t write them, and were not part of his original plan. If they truly were crucial to the story, he would draw those movies as arcs in the manga, like dragon ball did

Only if Horikoshi start to kill everyone and eri became the new main character and deku left the quirk to her that just would make the most powerful character in the series and tenko a eri are opposites she killed her dad he killed him's dad she was saved him was '' saved'' and they quirks are opposites too the decay and the rewind and let's be nice if eri is not a little girl she can just touch shigaraki without let him even actived the decay and make rewind to the dust.

I wasn't too much of a fan of that myself, but if they wanna do some stuff like that in the next movie, im sure the animation would be next level
