I recently downloaded an emulator PCSX2 and played castaways nearly on 100% with aliens and even wedding))))) highly recommend!! my favourite childhood game brought me a lot of joy🎉

You forgot to get the medieval cookbook and th compatible syove by the same creator. Where it supplies you with recipes to cook what you caught. Ground the nuts to flour. Create salt and render oil from the animal fat. etc. Love this mod. Your so much fun to watch.

I often played prehistoric style in my base game with Seasons and Jungle Adventures (I had a mod that allowed actually living in Selvadorada). I solved the bathing by hidding a stone bathtub in a pond. As for cooking I had the same idea as you - hidding a grill in stones. I had multiple mods installed and I modified all townies to wear prehistoric or at most peasant clothes. I downloaded some default replacement clothes too for the service sims. I was starting out with nothing, living prehistoric like life and then I was building a peasant style house and getting peasant clothes, eventually. It was a fun gamestyle. BTw. I had a modification with naturists so the sims were not bothered by staying in the room when other sim was bathing. :D

I did this sort of thing with the history challenge. There is a mod to stop autonomous phone use and one for swimming to increase hygiene and they made it so much easier. I also used a CC fridge that looked like stones and it used the off the grid trait. I think it was modthesims where I found them

Sims4me has a great mod called “swimming is fun and hygienic” i think would be great for this challenge. Also I’ve seen a fridge that looks like a tree.

Showering in the rain is OP, but you have to to wait until it rains. When I do gameplays similar to this, I always take advantage of rainy days whether they desperately need a shower or not. If you have kids and it says you can't, all you need to do is click farther away from them until it lets you. Sucks that only young adults and up can shower this way though.

As for showers, in Island Living, isn't the waterfall form of a shower? Also in JTB, there is a building your sim can go into to get their needs taken care of. I hope there is a mod for that. Perhaps with a few cavemen, they can get their social needs up much quicker.
