I just bought a set of RSi 1's so this vid was a lot of fun for me. A couple comments, too much camera movement early on, and you gotta get one of those shot trackers so we can see for ourselves where the ball goes. But I really like your approach, and when I'm stuck at work, getting to watch some golf is a real treat. Keep it up!

I am going for a fitting soon. I have been playing Rsi1 irons for nine years also . Trying out Ai smoke , Qi and P790 !

Oh yes! Is this your first fitting? If so enjoy the experience!! it’s so good! And I tell you what, I hit some of the new Wilson’s the other day and they performed and felt amazing! Might be one to consider if you can give them a hit too?

i think that's the key with the new clubs. vs old... new clubs are now packed with forgiveness on miss hits. yardage drop off reduced compared to the older sticks. nice video oz

Thank you Frazer, most definatly, and depending on where your golf game is and what your goals are, plus your financial situation you could be onto a winner picking up some decent second hand clubs for a quarter of the price of new ones! its better for the enviroment, the big golf companies are still earning the big bucks, and golfers can still get out there an play! everyone is a winner!

But for someone who cant afford to buy new clubs every 10 years would you say the old clubs stood up? I felt they did to be fair. I also thought the main difference that I didnt vocalise was the feel on the forged face of the Paradym was so impresive for a game improvemnt iron. very nice.. but thats how technology moves on i suppose.

Hi Joseph, I 100% agree, forgiving and lovely to hit. Only reason I upgraded was to get a bit more help at the top of the irons 6.5 otherwise I would have kept the RSi 1’s!

Comparing 7 iron vs 7 iron is silly when one of them is actually a 6 in drag and the other is a 5. Ignoring the number they stamped on the sole a comparison of similarly lofted irons would be more meaningful. My current 7 iron (TM RSi TP Forged) is at 34 degrees which is more comparable to the 8 iron on the RSi 1 and 9 iron on the Paradym X. As I get older I'd like to replace my player's irons with a more forgiving set but the stupid lofts keep me away.

Hi Zach interesting you say that. Yes they are stronger lofts but what if you tested them and the spin number and dispersion Was the same as your more traditional lofted “players” iron? I value the overall performance of the iron. As you say ignore the number on the bottom, also with Morden technology I’d also ignore the loft. As long as your gapping is correct to your distance desires. But thank you for your feedback definitely more I’ll consider adding in future 👌
