Soul Reaper is an acquired affinity. Even Ganju can use Kido. The fact that Ichigo's group was able to form Kukaku's cannonball already says that they have the basis for Kido. The just have to learn it. The rest is equipment.

Her power is already a top notch support type. The only downside of her powers is that she can't group health but when it comes to 1v1 support she's the best of the best in bleach.

Asauchi is pretty much an Item that helps to draw out inner power of a soul. It is an equivalent to Shrifts or Significant Items for Fullbringers, or, in the case of hollows, unic hollow appearence (and it is the reason. why for Arrancars it's their hollow selfs goes to zanpakuto) It's just that all of those methodes work a bit different from one to another but give similar resultes. I am pretty sure that if Yahwach wanted, he technicaly can give Shrift to a Shinigami, and it will work.

If Chad & Orihime did end up getting Zanpaktos for themselves, I can see them having abilities similar to their respective fullbring powers. For example: - Chad's Shikai would basically be his 2 arms Coated like usual while his Bankai is a full suit of armor. - Orihime's shikai is most likely a shield, and her Bankai would be a force field covering a massive radius.

I mean the answer makes sense. An Asauchi is bonds with the user and Kenpachi himself just picked one up from a dead Soul reaper and it became his Zanpaktou eventually. Considering how eccentric Oetsu is I could see it being like a one short or even just a random manga panel gag where he creates an Asauchi for the gang (with Uryu refusing on pride and Orihime and Chad being confused on what’s happening). Or heck maybe they could just include it as an omake in the future lol Yes I realize the answer doenst specify Uryu but it’s just shown in canon Quincies cannot hollowify (unless they are a hybrid like Ichigo or seemingly by having the soup king power as shown by Yawach) so I theory he could get soul reaper powers (again in an What if situation)

I always assumed they would have to wait til they died and ascended to the Soul Society, and their zanpaktou abilities would reflect their fullbring abilities and already have stronger level spiritual energy. but if they could obtain it before death that would be nuts. they would automatically be captain class once they die and ascend

Given her husband and son, she has basically been soaking in high-density reishi for years, so her soul is likely VERY powerful (kinda like when Rukia and Renji were in the palace, but over a much longer time). Also, I can't see her dying any time soon, as she almost certainly can reject aging on herself, making her biologically immortal.

I think if uryu gained shinigami powers, they would manifest in a similar way to ichigos og zangetsu. As far as orihime, her rikka is similar to a zanpakuto already so i think her asauchi would probably capture the part of her soul that carries her fighting spirit, whereas chad already has a combat type fullbring, perhaps his zanpakuto would be a support type. Edit: actually, when i think about it, tsubaki might actually be the part of orihimes soul thats suited for combat, if that were the case, her zanpakuto would still have the offensive power of rejection, meaning it could probably be very OP when also being able to use the shield. Also, now that uryu has the antithesis power of the schrift, it may be that would become the source of his zanpakuto ability since ichigos quincy power controlled his "true" powers by suppressing the hollow/shinigami part, perhaps the A within uryu would manifest as yhwach as well.. though it's pure speculation.

Quincy souls don't go to soul society, so they can't become shinigami after death. They get consumed by Yhwach when they die, so we don't actually have clarification on what happens to them after Yhwach is gone. I could see Chad getting a sword very similar to Kensei's.

I think it's pretty significant that Uryuu could actually awaken a Zanpakuto, since it always seemed like the Quincy and Shinigami power systems were incompatible in many ways, especially since Quincy seem to lack an inner world.

It's just not a common occurrence. Quincy power tends to remain on Earth, and Shinigami tend to stay in SS. And after death, Quincy power tends to return to Yhwach. It sort of makes sense why it's never came up

What I’m wondering now is why they didn’t lean into the tragic narrative reflection between Ūkītáké & the Fullbringers since they ALL have pieces of Réīô’s soul with them, though he’s the only one besides Thieves that got it without carrying around their mixture of experimental soul bits mixed with Réīô bits & combined with a smarter person’s version of the same tool but without stolen Rāngíkū bits… Shall I consider him to be doing a suicidal Fullbring power when he does the kámíkákké ritual?! Or do we consider his Two Blade sword the sign that there’s more than one soul & he’s not united with his Réīô bits & thusly a Better parallel to Aîzèn in that way?! Do we consider him a fullbringer but only in afterlife or is it different cause the others are Literal reincarnated fragments of the Réīô which were bound to manifest somewhere… But does this mean Kísūké’s just been thinking about all this & doing unusual research of potentially questionable history which maybe he had his Own ever evolving view of Aîzèn as he realises “this isn’t just me when I’m younger… this is… more complicated…” or something? There’s a Lot of important heavy stuff that could be a bit darker but all the older Bleach fans would die for a narrative around Kísūké’s actual character arcs earlier in his life as a Shīnígámí… Anyone get similar wonderings on this stuff?! But I’d be shocked if Captains & Èspádà aren’t basically already Fullbringers without an understanding of it… But even Funnier… one Could speculate that the ásāüchí could be literally Part of the Ôkèn through whatever manifestation abilities etc. of Ōètsū Nímaîyà’s powers with whatever souls he was makin em out of… So are all of them Fullbringers as well?! It's just "What if" situation . But asauchi was created by Oetsu . he only gives those to soul reapers and asauchis also only recognise them, not human, quincy or hollow .

Inoue's power definetly isnt a zanpakuto She has 8 guys and 7 of them clearly are not combat oriented. While zanpakuto only mirrors the part of you fit for combat
