I completely understand why people choose to hunker down instead of evacuate (when it isn’t mandatory). I’d rather ride it out in my home than be stuck out on a highway somewhere. I hope the areas affected will recover as quickly as possible. ❤

I have been selling on Ebay for 20+ years and have lived in Fort Pierce, FL for twelve. We were hit by an F3 tornado, which is normally unheard of in Florida. We were out of power for a week, and Xfinity was down. I reached out to my Buyers by using my phone and explained to them what was going on. All of my Buyers were understanding. We were blessed and did not have damage; however all around me it looks like a war zone. I am so happy you and your family was safe. I love watching and learning from your videos. I’m glad to hear you are safe! I’m in South Florida. Even though we didn’t get hit really bad by the hurricane, there was a tornado out here in Wellington, Florida, not too far from me. It left a lot of damage. A few restaurants in Palm Beach County have donated some of their proceeds from yesterday’s sales to a Tornado Relief Fund. I would not be surprised if Florida is either under water or ravaged due to irreparable damage in the next 10-15 years. Unfortunately, fur babies is one of the few things that men feel comfortable showing emotion and being vulnerable about but it’s good that it’s a safe space. Just glad you’re safe 🙏

@@FlippingandPunching Thanks. I hope not but all I’m gonna say is you talk trash to mother nature, she talks back. I heard there was a tornado last year very close to my house; luckily I was out of town when it hit (don’t know how bad it was). Plus there was that hurricane either last year or the year before that completely demolished that one bridge somewhere in central Florida. Each year just seems to be worse and worse and Florida is the only state surrounded by water 75%.

Dear Rod this life, they say that when someone looses their pet, specially the dogs, they wait at the gate of heaven for their owners to get there. I am not a religious person but when my Romeo was in his last days this saying kinda gave me a comfort…i miss him a lot. But I have so many great memories with him. Hope your wound will heal fast.

OMG, the doorknob! Happy you took people in! I had friends living in trailers for the first 2 hurricanes 2/3 I went through and I made them come to my concrete brick house. Then I calmed down then Katrina hit... Pensacola should have some sourcing if it doesn't bounce back. I know it's a drive for you. Visit your friends and you can source.

My boy Tiger was with me for almost 19 years . We went through so much together . If it wasn’t for him I don’t know if I would have gotten through . Until he went to the vet for not eating , and she said that C word , I was devastated . Well around a year ago I was diagnosed with four cancers , so I will definitely be able to hold him again . Unfortunately sooner than later , since I no longer have medical insurance . I also went through Milton , it was terrifying . The worst I have seen . We heard the roof being ripped off , and had several other things happen . I am still shaking from it . We lost power for four days.

Our fur babies are family! Hugs to you and your family! We lived in SW Louisiana during Laura and Delta. We have since moved to southeast Texas. We evacuated for Laura but rode out Delta. Never again! We will evacuate for a Cat 3 and above. I truly believe in Hurricane PTSD.

Don’t worry about your taxes. With Federal Disaster Areas you will automatically get additional time. You just have to tell them where you live and that you are in a Federal Disaster Area. With mail interruptions, lack of power, lack of gas, and more, you don’t even have to have major damage to get certain relief.

@@FlippingandPunching yeah I mean I had a generator hooked up to my house the whole time but it's nice to be able to run my air conditioning in my pool pump we had three big limbs to land on our house no structural damage but debris everywhere my shed ended up in my next door neighbor's yard lol it was one hell of a storm we got lucky in Tampa though cuz it turned south at the last minute we still got a heavy beaten but not like they did south of us. now I'm just trying to get my listings going again
