6:20 most concerning thing for indian badminton. Thanks for speaking it out

Dark times for Indian Badminton up ahead... Lakshya will be the only decent MS player left but even he is injury prone/inconsitent, Tressa/Gayatri are just not there yet, mixed doubles stays dead, Womens singles is going to become dead and we dont know if our last hope Satchi will be the same with a new coach... Truly dark times...

P v sindhu is reaching end of her illustrious career but still have 1 or 2 years to shine...she can win a a medal at Asian games in 2026 if she has a good form as she has changed her coach time now joined hands with Anup Shridhar... I checked on internet he was the same person who was coaching Lakshya Sen when he won commonwealth games and reached the semi-finals of all England open... He can bring a change in her game... Even said that there would be changed in PV sindhu's game but we have to wait for the results for a time... I believe that PV Sindhu can make a good come back that come back would not be as good as winning a Olympic medal or winning a world championship but yes she can defeat top players .. I believe that once she comes in her form then she will become a player who will consistently reach in quarter final ,semi finals of the BWF tournaments... I believe that she can win a medal at Asian games... Hence I believe she can make a comeback... Even if she does not make a comeback then also we cannot deny the achievements she has made .. but this point is concerning that none of the Indian badminton players in women's singles are doing good... There is malvika bansod.. who has today a semi final match in super 300... But nothing can be said till now .... We need to have as you said at least five top players at international level in each category so that we can shine in international Circuit.... The women's doubles duo gaytri and Tressa are doing exceptionally good.. they are currently working very hard... I firmly believe that this pair can win a medal in world championships and with their hard work ,perseverance and determination they can also win Olympic medal as they are coaching under Gopichand sir

Pv Sindhu is struggling hard with fast drop and slices at the front court , she became very slow after the injury and is playing opposite to her natural style which is attacking , but still I vouch for her as there are no other Indian single women’s players who are performing up to her level at international levels

So sorry to say she is a legend of India but every good things comes to end … p.v sindhu u r grt player n India will never forget your contribution towards Indian batminton….

I don't get it, on social media we see numerous academies training and manufacturing upcoming badminton BWF level players at a scale of very large amount, still no accomplishments in international tournaments. Trend of badminton is unstoppable in India. Why still lagging behind? India should have atleast 4 players in every formats MS,MD,XD,WS.

@@raoanwar178 Its because whatever we are trying is not enough to compete with other countries, its not that we aren't trying but rather that the other countries are trying a lot more than us to improve.

teresa jolly and gayatri are really giving good fight to top players ..good to see them in world tour finals..these ladies are working really hard .. but I think ashwini and tanisha are doubtful for participation in world tour finals even tough they are in top 8 there ... may be there is separation but it would be an exciting thing if they pair up and show up there ... because two pairs from inida would be a great thing in such prestigious tournament ..

Pursala has been Indias top seed for years now , she will enter 30s next year and facing players of age 20-22 is real task of energy and mind set. she is not responding to drops and her reactions are slow . this is bound to happen she is not of 20 years now , let Sindhu cherish her last few years before she calls it an end :(

Malvika played well in latest Hylo Open, but she has to work on her smashes and overhead shots. She is 23. Need to improve a lot in 2 years. She is left handed player, if she works on smashes she will be in the top... She has a good drop shots
@BalaSudSK2 ай бұрын
@pratyushjborah Poor defense as well. She has to work on her smash, drop and backhand. All the time playing overhead makes players tired plus makes you out of position sometime.

We are doomed brother, before only countries like China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia were ahead of us but now even Thailand South Korea and many others have overtaken us. We don't have any top players in mixed doubles and women doubles and now even women's singles and mens doubles aren't promising. Other countries have at least 3 good entries in all categories then only they win some medals, we on the other hand don't have any.

Badminton for Women has drastically changed from what it was around 2012-2016 , simple thing what you can do is watch older games of Saina Nehwal or PV Sindhu. The new young women are lethal on the court, and looking at Sindhu's game she is nowhere even close to winning a title. the most she will be able to do it reach quaters or semis max!

@BalaSudSK2 ай бұрын
She is a player without much of attacking nor defensive skills..if opponent makes error she wins and this way its impossible to win against players within world top 5. That's how she reached finals of Hylo Open and lost in finals. She even had an upset win over Tunjung when Tunjung was exhausted after playing in previous tournament and made way too unforced errors. Unfortunately Malvika cannot be a world beater or world's top 10 anytime. Sorry to state this way but this is how it looks in reality
