It literally is a control deck. Something not having counterspells (which it DOES have for the record, Ertai Resurrected counters spells) doesn't automatically make it not a control deck. Using removal, boardwipes, and other interaction to greatly slow down the opponent so that you can achieve a slow and grindy gameplan is the DEFINITION of control.

11:23 when did they change the death effect? is this specific to mill or some sort of cosmetic? That wasn't a normal head explosion when they died. 18:10 another mill death with the same death effect.

It is a custom animation for mill, yes! Similar to the special explosion for poison.

Kano.exe (Grixis) reminds me of a brawl where the opponent said Good Game to me in the middle of the game. TBF, I was down to 5-11 life, but I was running [Liesa, Forgotten Archangel] and the opponent failed to take that into account as in a Herculean move the game turned around and the opponent lost to Liesa and “I sac, you sac” creatures.

I can’t think of an aggro style mill deck. Even the fast ones IMO play more like combo where you have a line your pieces up correctly. Good, honest mill
