Repaired Genex Controller is one of my favorite pieces of legacy support both because you think it should be stupidly busted, but you remember this is a duel terminal archetype. That’s not an insult either, it’s just the right amount of chaos that you can get away with when it comes to legacy support. Also I love the artwork being a Controller with the flower that Spare gifted him after passing away, as depicted in the card Final Gesture.

Definitely the way to built this deck is with other engines, like superheavy, snake eyes, or centurion. They eat up interactions from opp and then you just normal summon a genex and go full combo. Is not bad at all, I made it to Master 3 so far all they way from Diamond 5. Pretty solid rogue.

There's another I faced where the guy summoned Nat Beast, but it only works if you open the Genex Chemical guy (idk the name). I'm curious what others could think of. What Plat does to a mfer. People will do anything not to spend dust in Plat on the new decks. Gage was playing against a Twillightsworn List and they were playing Lightsworn Sanctuary, Triple Aegis, and Triple Jain + Raiden. Meanwhile, you move up to Diamond, and the players end on Baronne, Rulkallos, Hope Harbinger, and a 4 mat Appo.

so, I still think there is probably some potential for a more flexible genex engine. like, repaired controllers first effect, on summon does not lock you to anything. So genex names are just a straight +1 when put on the field. Also, stupid tech, but genex remote lets you change the name of any tuner to 'genex controller' theoretically letting you use synchro tuners as 'genex controller' to go into quasar or something.

Unless you mean, you can use it to add a Genex card to hand and then not summon it, but that sounds like a pretty lousy use off your normal summon.
