I actually really like to see you driving sims Misha! As someone with limited track experience but a LOT of time in sims, I really think they do a great job bridging the gap between a fun game and a training tool. I'd love to hear you talk more about them, how they translate, their shortcomings etc

They should work on some special hardcore regen braking mode especially for nurburgring, to try to relieve standard brakes as much as possible

Fair play bro. That was a damn good lap. Looking forward to Mate actually coming to the 'ring with the Nevera. That would be pretty crazy altogether. Do have to say what that man achieved in this short span of time is pretty mind boggling. I remember in the very early days of Rimac I had a fight with my friend who said who tf is Mate Rimac and what is Rimac Automobili, they will amount to nothing. I told him you'll be eating your words bro. Lo and behold look at Mate and where Rimac stands right now. I plan on confronting him soon on this subject.

That rig & screen & sim is the bomb. Not as satisfying as the real thing, but with the right force-feed steering wheel, it’s a great way to train for a specific track. I believe that even F1 and MotoGP use them to establish familiarity. 👍🙈props to the team that made the sim!

I got into Assetto Corsa specifically to hot lap the Nordschleife. More recently I upgraded to a fanatec rig which I absolutely love. Next step is coming to Germany to rip around in a bimmer. Tracking manufacturers times around the ring is very intriguing to me.

Added the car mod to Assetto Corsa had a quick mess on the control pad and yeah i know a pad sucks but was a fun test. Now i need to give the room a bit of a clean and set the wheel and seat up then i am going to see if i can get under 7 mins round Nürburgring. Thanks for all the great videos to :)

contrary to what you said in the beginning of the video, you indeed can simulate tyre degradation and tyre temps in assetto and you can monitor your live tyre temps and wear right on the screen when youre driving.

you can also make the tracks dusty or rainy whatever you want so track temp also plays a part in assetto contrary to what you said as well. the only thing it doesnt do as far as im aware is engine/battery temps

Aren't the tire type, car weight and acceleration/braking data (plus laws of physics) enough to simulate tire degradation? Can there be a 'model' of that car at all without this data?

I’m my fav pub ATM. Misha is great, has a great team and a great community in the comments! The recent dialogue with Patrick’s diff on his Opel Cleo is a great example. The car seemed very well sorted, & props to him for fabricating his own shifter that Misha approved of👍🤭🤓 Great cheap build on the internals, nothing outrageous, but 14:22 I’m skeptical of the PS/HP ratings. 🤫
