How do Savers and Dog Junkies Thrift Stores compare to Goodwill? I found lots of items, but can I make the the prices work??
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.

It's funny, I used to dumpster dive all the time when I was a kid. You can find all kinds of good stuff that people just don't want anymore. We are in that generation where it's the through away generation... Kind of sad really... I love shopping with you guys cause I can not financially right now so you guys make it fun even though a lot of us can not... & you give us a lot of information on things I did not know are still out there... I would have snagged thst lazy Susan with the black and white glass pieces. I believe it is from the 40s or 50s and it is Atlas Glass. I have the same set only in blue and yellow

If your mystery dish is German, it may have had a matching salt and pepper to fit in the indentations and mustard would have been put in the dish area. They would have been a mustard spoon to match.

A rare treat; a Ziggy cameo! I love how Bandit is very zen and content to remain mainly in one spot and Ziggy likes to prowl through the haul and examine everything. 😀🐈🐱‍👤

Right! What kind of management is Savers in particular hiring for them to have the nerve to price these items at or above retail WAY too often nowadays? I'd rather go to the flea market these days, or yard sale/estate sale hunting.

As you mentioned, the Russian lacquer box was a great find. While I have seen a few smaller boxes in thrift stores, the bigger higher quality boxes are uncommon

What a fun video with dogs, Danni’s dumpster dive, cats and all your great finds! I’m sure a zillion people have confirmed that your little dish is perfect for a pair of hard boiled eggs and then some mayo or mustard or hollandaise sauce for dipping. That’s a common breakfast for me and it looks perfect for the purpose! Love everything, as usual, but my faves this time are the citrus glasses, the green and silvertone metal dish, that glorious rooster and the Rosenthal candleholders. I like the dragon incense holder, too, and of course the egg dish!! Loved that Ziggy made a guest appearance and Bandit is gorgeous as ever. The only cat I’ve known who was as sweet was my daughter’s cat Zachary. She and her husband moved into a home and had a baby within a couple of months. Zachary watched their comings and goings with great interest and often greeted them when they came home. My daughter assumed he belonged to someone in the neighborhood, but after a year she mentioned him and a neighbor told her he’d been hanging around for a couple of years, didn’t belong to anyone and nobody could catch him!! It seemed Zachary had chosen them to be his family because he’d been coming around every time they were outside, so as soon as she heard this, she opened the door and invited Zachary inside and he politely thanked her, walked in, made himself at home and never left. He had some health issues from living on his own for all that time (I’m guessing his family moved away without him), but he lived with them for 2 blissful years before the end came. My daughter felt guilty for not bringing him in sooner (they live in the very cold and snowy northeast) but I kept reminding her that she gave him a wonderful last couple of years with the family he chose and who loved him dearly.

It is actually the finance department not the marketing department that puts a cap on the amount you can buy with the coupon. The more you buy the less they make with 20 per cent off. I find their prices incredibly high and all of the broken stuff is such a shame.

I had one of these posted for over a year and wondered what it actually was. I just tried to describe it to my best. I thought it was beautiful. However after that length of time I saw one of the more seasoned (than me) resellers come across one and they called it a double egg cup. I googled that and I found others.

I just want to remind you and everyone, when a service dog is working, it should never be touched. He was absolutely adorable, and I am a HUGE k9 person, but if the dog is working and someone distracted it , it can me life or death for the human it is working for. If it was a seizure alert dog, it would be trained to sense a seizure coming on and warn the human to lie down so they don't fall and hit their head. If the person was blind it would warn it not to bump into something. If they were in a wheelchair they would be trained to pick something up the human dropped. That dog was an emotional support dog which should not be jumping on people. No dog should jump on people. Unless they are a trained attack dog. Some people don't mind a cute dog jumping on them. But a dog that is allowed to jump on people, cannot tell the difference of a small child, or someone in a suit or dress. I digress. If it's wearing a read vest with a patch on it, please don't distract the dog. If it's not wearing a vest and patch, and the owner says it's ok, then go for it. I always do. I can't not pet a dog once their family says it's ok.

In Canada that store is called Value Village. I’ve stopped going because of their ridiculous price increase. They receive everything for free and donate very little. BTW, I love your show ❤️

Value Village, which is what Savers are in Canada, have pretty high prices on their first aisle of what they deem as “collectibles” and figurines. However, I can still find a few scores if I take my time and look hard! They usually have a load of bags with random items and I find small treasures in there often as well. But I NEVER shop without a coupon or emailed barcode.
