I found more than a few amazing treasures at Goodwill today... guess which ones were my favorite???
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Its close to closing time on a Friday night at Goodwill. They were busy restocking the store and amazing treasures kept appearing on the shelves, even some 50% off grey tags! I'm American, but was born in England & that "bits & bobs" thing is something my British mum used to say alot. Sadly, she passed away 7 yrs ago 😥. The Peruvian pottery pieces are definitely part of a Nativity set. Two of the three wise men (with presents in their hands), Mary but not Joseph, and one shepherd (with crook in his hand). As several other commenters have said, there appears to be baby Jesus in the manger at 6:43. Go get him! Definitely go back and see if the other king is there, and Joseph, and maybe another shepherd or angel as well.

At 1807, the uranium glass that looks like a large cup without a handle is actually old. It is the bottom to a mixer. There is a metal top with a handmixer that attaches to this piece. Love your videos!

When I visited a friend in Peru at New Year's a few years back, I was amazed at the variety of small clay nativity figures that were in one store alone. But then, everyone sets up their nativity in December, often taking up an entire card table (one guy had a small bedroom-sized room full--ornaments hanging from the ceiling, a workbench-style table with two levels, special lighting, etc). They have special parties on Jan 6 or 7 to take them down. Friends are invited over, a short prayer, drinks and conversation.

However, they are not nearly as fully stocked as your store. The blue, carnival glass bowl is stunning! I know many people love to purchase collectible figurines. Just a thought, keep the owl as is. Those “chips” are character marks. They don’t detract from that piece. Not the same but, I recently had some old coins evaluated. The dealer told me that to polish or clean the coins would actually devalue them. Could be the same with the owl.

I love him and seriously considered him for a minute until I realized I have literally no space for him, but I immediately thought that if I bought him, I’d want him as he is. Maybe put a note in the listing about how easy it would be to cover the paint loss but that you’re leaving him as he is for the new owner to decide?

I have been a faithful watcher of your channel, and appreciate all of the work that you put into your videos. I just left a comment on Danni's channel and I found her through yours, so wanted to leave you one too. You're part of the "kindler an gentler" channels on KZbin with respect to thrifting and vintage. I enjoy the adventures that you have with your family, and your sweet mum and dad. I was a fan of someone popular and well respected in the field of antiques, and subscribed to the channel, etc., until there was a disaster of a misunderstanding in a chat for a premiere, where they read my comment wrong and then went on the attack, until it was explained and they allegedly apologized. I felt the mask slipped, and I know people who know this personality socially, and was about ready to engage their services, but their ego shot them in the foot. That's why I enjoy your channel, Danni's, and am going to look into some of the others that you have mentioned in videos with whom you collaborate, since if it's Tiffany approved, it's good. I am not a dealer, myself, but like to add to my collection, and have done so a lot as of late, when I have been finding some good items. Thanks for the great content and ability to see the Goodwills in Vegas and some of your adventures into California, too. All the best to your lovely family this year, and Bear is just so sweet -- the way he was interacting with your husband was just too cute. Thank you Tiffany, and what a sweetie Bear is! I have always been afraid of German Shepherds after being bitten by one as a young child. My adult cousins had adopted one from an abusive home, and the dog didn’t like children. They brought him to a family gathering and he attacked me while I was bringing a toasted marshmallow to my aunt. If I hadn’t been wearing shorts with a cuff, half of my thigh would be gone! I’ve been trying for years to accept the breed without quivering! That having been said, I’ve loved 2 rescues, with all my heart. One part Chow (our homeowners insurance was canceled over that) and one a non-recognizable mix, probably part pit bull. Enjoy him! I miss having a furry companion.

Hi! There's the 1st fish you saw and showed at 4:36, and I think I've those on fishermen's walls before & from what I recall, some of those can be very expensive. I don't know about them, but it seems there are some people who collect them. At 7:19 under the "Deco" sign is a blue and white ceramic pitcher fish that looks VERY interesting! If you go back and see it again, or if you've seen it before, what can you tell about it? Also, the reproduction uranium depression glass is interesting. I don't collect uranium glass, but I know a couple of people who do. I love depression & clear, colored hobnail glass though! I like the blue, turquoise & pink, as that's my plan to decorate my house/eat off it. There's some new hobnail turquoise dinnerware I absolutely love! I've been watching old and new episodes and ones very interesting & fun to "go shopping" with you! Seems you have some awesome stores by you! I've checked out the 3 Good Will stores by me and they are usually over-priced on many items (I know much of that has to do with where I live)... once in while a good deal on something, but they're taking time to do comps, even on everyday things that may be necessities for some people, which bothers me. Basic pots, pans, utensils, bedding, clothing, furniture and such should be kept at reasonable prices for those in need and those starting out. Sadly the prices are high in my area, although I did find a "bins" store about 30 miles away, so I'm going to check it out. I'm glad you and others keep in mind those who are in need of the basics! There's quite a few resellers and even buyers on YT who are very mindful of others' needs, and times are difficult for some, as many people are moving and they'll need things on the other end, if only until they get resettled and maybe redonate items or many who lost their homes in the fires here in California are just getting back into their homes. My neighbors just got their COO right before Christmas, and they lost everything but 1 car and the clothes on their back pretty much, and they're retired, so it's been very hard on them. I'm just glad they are back in their home! It took over 18 months for the contractors to rebuild! Anyhow, I may be interested in buying that fish. I want to decorate in blues, turquoise and pink - ocean theme! I also collect elephants and cats. I'll have to check out the description for your contact info! You find some really beautiful things, and have great taste! Congratulations on the house, BTW! OH! And at 9:35 there's a really adorable elephant drum or jewelry box??? And behind him, to the right, there's what appears to be a large block of beeswax in the shape of a bowl next to a really cute apple cookie jar! It looks like perhaps someone melted it and poured it into a bowl... they might have even added wicks to turn it into a candle??? Either way, it looks like a big chunk of beeswax. I use quite a bit of it for a variety of things, & it can be very expensive. No problem if it gets broken in shipping if someone's going to melt it before use anyhow! 100% beeswax or paraffin/beeswax mix have a LOT of uses! It can be burned as a candle, even at 100% beeswax, and it smells nice too! There are a lot of candles makers out there, using molds or dipping tapered candles. With an entire very large factory no longer in existence from the tornado that took it out in Kentucky, some types of candles may be in short supply, and beeswax and soy wax mix candles (paraffin and other mixes are amazing!) Anyhow, I'm going to check your description for your information! The Grayson Hall cups for $0.69 is a great deal! Cute too! Wow! The clear bowl at 18:31 behind the serving trays looks very interesting and beautiful!. Some of us still like clear glass too, especially with interesting patterns! I'm blown away at the NIB cookware there! I may have to drive over there to shop! Your stores have some amazing stuff! The wood bowl at 23:50 looks beautiful! I'm interested in that! SO pretty!!! If we had a store like yours here, I'd need a warehouse, or a very large house! I wonder if GW would take a deal on all those white coffee cups? Someone could save a bundle of they were opening a restaurant! Restaurant equipment is often very expensive! Anyhow, thanks for taking us along! I'm going to look for your contact info! Bear is adorable, but I have to say that I am very fearful of German Shepherds. When I was a nanny while in college, I was attacked by a guard German Shepherd at the grandparents house of the kids I watched. It was my fault, I put my hand out too soon & had it palm down versus palm up, & the dog didn't know me well enough to trust me yet. I still have two huge tooth marks on my thigh & hip where he ripped right through my jeans & bit me soooo hard I had to be hospitalized for a few hours to get stitches. I love dogs but German Shepherds still scare me!! I am actually hoping that watching Bear grow up via your videos might help me get over my fear a little bit- 🤞🙏🤞🙏.

Did you mean the lighter-skinned Jesus? Having seen those sets in stores in Peru, I can tell you that they have a wide array of skin tones, but every piece in each set is consistent--always the same skin tone, design, and dress
