It's a great topic. People often wonder why I shoot decent, and it's simple...when you choose to shoot a revolver double action only trigger press, it makes everything else child's play. I been following you for a long time and have noticed since maybe 6 months ago how close you are to that 100,000 mark. A natural channel like yours with nothing but unsponsored content, getting to 100k subs is like a million subs elsewhere. Congrats.

Sir, thank you for commenting. I imagine your time with a double action revolver explains a lot of your skill and proficiency.

Agreed, 100%!!! By practicing with a revolver, double action only shooting, has tremendously helped me with trigger control and I have seen much improvement when shooting my semi-autos. Great video, thank you!!

Sir, many thanks for commenting. Revolvers really can help develop marksmanship skills that are so critical to shooting any firearm. Thanks again for watching.

Double action revolvers with the heavy trigger and 5-8 round capacity also force higher quality practice.

You were right on point. They really helped develop the fundamental skills that are needed in regards to trigger management. Thank you so much for commenting.

Yes! I wish more videos encouraged new shooters to start with DA revolvers. Thanks for the video.

Yes, sir. There is Tunson value in starting with a double action revolver. Especially a .22 long rifle revolver.

I always bring my S&W model 64 to the range when shooting with friends. Very light recoil since it’s 38 special and damn accurate. Everyone loves shooting it. And dry fire practice with it has translated to semi-auto. Cheers from Eugene 🍺

Sir, thank you for commenting. I actually grew up in Eugene so I have fond memories of my time there. I agree with you revolvers are one of those firearms that people really enjoy shooting especially if they don’t shoot them very much. Thank you so much for commenting.

spending time on a revolver, shooting double action only 357 magnum is great for newer shooters. Learn that trigger control and master the flinch because 357 has a lot more punch than 9 mm. if you can shoot a double action revolver in 357 well you can shoot a Glock style pistol well. The reverse is not necessarily true.

Well shooting revolver and becoming proficient with it makes going to a semi a piece of cake. Plus you automatically earn you Level 5 "BadAss" card upon doing so LOL. About 8 yrs ago I got on revolver kick hard. I've always had some and even competed briefly with them. But when this bug hit I really got in the full custom builds and once you start shooting those they become as different from a factory gun as a race gun is different from a factory pistol. Great video as always!

Yes, sir, I couldn’t agree more! I own a couple of the older Smith & Wesson revolvers that were hand fitted and tuned. Also, the performance center 625. I simply love to shoot revolvers! Thanks for watching. If you haven’t already, I hope you will subscribe and share the channel with friends and family. Stay safe.

Yup! It worked for me. A S&W-67 revolver helped me shoot my Glock better!

Good to hear from you. It’s either a bad summer cold that won’t quit or possibly lingering Covid. Either way I’m sick and tired of coughing. I appreciate you watching and commenting as always. Stay safe.

Yep, if you own a revolver or revolvers, you'll need more practice time with them - as they're more challenging to shoot than semi-autos.
