Here's what Wren had to say about the channel's hiatus: "It's just logistically too challenging to do right now. Setting up the guilletine is a full two day thing when you account for not just the filming, but the setup of moving desks and setting up tarps and equipment and then the extensive cleanup required. And then of course, the displacement of people who can't work on their computers cuz they got stacked into a corner. BUT we haven't given up on the channel. We're currently renovating Studio 3 to move all post production up there. This should make more room to film in the studio with less work and prior notice. But it'll still be several more months before we film anything. We're also considering shipping the guillotine to Jake in Texas."

Yeah, I think by the logic shown in this video, if you shoot a bullet resistant vest and the bullet goes through and lands on the ground behind it instead of embedding itself into the backstop, it "stopped the bullet." If it weren't for the hardware that the blade was attached to, the spaghetti wouldn't have been able to wedge itself between the blade that the table after being cut in half. I think if the spaghetti had been tightly bound into big bundles instead of being loosely piled like that, it might have legitimately stopped the blade.

They tried to appeal to younger audience, which is risky because they didn't go all in with clickbaits or loud overreactions so they can keep entertaining adults (keep previous audience) Also don't forget that COPPA stuff, which made the situation confusing for many channels (I dunno how exactly it works) Maybe they're just too late for the party, maybe they didn't commit enough to come up with GOOD ideas for chopping. A good example of commitment would be to rebuild/modify le guilloitine, stress the process of cutting, think of how to make it more interesting. It's like their hide and seek or other childish videos, they always try to make it interesting - that's why it works for mature auidience I'd like to see how it would cut through a batch of horizontally placed paper and at what amount would the blade start getting stuck. Maybe this thing has to be rebuilt from scratch so the cuts would be much more entertaining without coming up with sick ideas. It would consume a lot of time and money, and considering the risks of audience appeal it'd say RIP
