I feel like there were a lot of games where Numot showed off things I would never think to do on my own. The O ring destroy on the stack to permanently exile, and using prairie dog to potentially add multiple counters to other creatures.

That o-ring move is a common old-school tactic that they changed the format on most later cards to stop. Notably, it works with the angel from MKM.

Seems like on game three, should have played the possum and hold up snakeskin Vale instead of plotting security and keep the land. That way you have more attacking on the board you end up with a 56 possum attacking and bounce the security, which you used to saddle it to use every turn. And you would’ve protected your position until you cast the security the next turn it looks like you would’ve won that way, hard to be certain but I was kind of surprised you played it that way. Great content love your channel. I definitely have improved myself from watching all your games and thoughts.

Was thinking the same thing. Either way the stagecoach security enters the battlefield next turn so might as well have an extra attacker and snakeskin up. We do have hindsight that he ended up drawing a land anyway. I can see value in trying to draw something good but since he is tryna go fast it seemed incorrect. Also, opponent could have played hand differently if he played possom so who knows

I had 3 pools like this today. If you do open the best cards you have to just have a removal based deck or you die. Even then you still die.

I thought that too. Maybe having two instances of “if you would add 1 counter add plus 1” just replaced each other instead of stacking. But I think it really should stack

I wish the other colors had more impact/ power level in this format. You can open killer blue black red rares and still the green deck variants are almost always the go to.
