Another day in Sicily awaits the riders, but unlike the first one this one will suit the fastmen with a flat finish in Vincenzo Nibali’s hometown of Messina - will he have a go at the stage himself?

I said this on stage 3, he is young and his team and he ALL need the experience! It's all about positioning! You can be the fastest man out there but without a knowledgeable team to get you in the right position you won't have success unless you can freelance and Bini definitely isn't that experienced so the ENTIRE TEAM needs work in order to help Bini! Bini also needs experience! It's a tactical discipline and he has to learn and he's learning a lot the past week

Thought this was going to be a usual "boring" flat stage, but that little climb changed everything. After Alpecin turned the hurt on the sprinters there, it turned into a proper, exciting and tactical race. And Bora again a serious team to watch. Very impressive

“Little”? That climb was 20km long just under 6%.
@jackhammer111

Nothing exciting or tactical is shown in this summary. They dropped cav and Caleb early which was not hard to do because neither one of them expected to survive the climb. 100 Rider Strong Peloton doesn't have to work hard to stay away from a 25-man group 12 minutes behind. Considering there was no credible Breakaway it was hardly more than a good Training Day.. so tell me what was exciting and Tactical before the Finish.

@@jackhammer111 I watched the entire race. If they cruised the climb, it would have been a simple catch the break and bunch sprint. But because Alpecin attacked, even Demare was dropped and only just managed to catch up. If he didn't that was it. Plus Grouparma, Alpecin and Intermache are clearly working together. If Demare didn't catch up, that togetherness would have gone out the window for the Giro. And Cavendish could have even caught up if the peloton sat up, but forced Cavendish's entire team to pull the pin at 40km. Yet if the peloton pushed too hard for too long, Cavendish ironically would have tired them for the next sprint stage also. It's also been like 6 years since one saw 2 entire teams basically team TT at the back. Also psychologically this would have badly hurt an already hurt Ewen. Lastly, if the peloton eased up after catching the break, a second break was on, so they had to go at a serious pace the entire last 50km. And cracking the pure sprinters theoretically even gave Van der Poel an outside chance.

It was a wise move by FDJ! I'm a Cav fan but I didn't pick him today cos I had a feeling that would happen and it did. Demare is looking good but I'm keen to see Gaviria win but I've not really seen him on winning form. I do believe that Intermarche, Alpecin and FDJ are working together against Ewan and Cav but it doesn't seem like anyone is taking Gaviria as a threat and it's starting to look like he's NOT a threat.

I love these recaps, looking forward to seeing of there are longer version stage highlights - may I make a suggestion, though? Whether or not the commentator ups his excitement to describe the finale (strong preference for upped excitement), perhaps, at least, let the actual highlight occur before telling us the winner? I mean, the whole point of the sprint stage is the sprint, and right in the few seconds before they cross the line, telling us Demarre won... Sort of a "womp womp" moment. Please take this constructively, i love these!

All riders are doing all they can to undermine Biniam Ewan in the first stage may be his plan to take Bini with him after seeing the other two stages it's clear there is something behind the stage planed to deny Bini a win

@@clipzed in the first stage Ewan can see he can no longer win it why make contact, second stage the 2nd and 3rd on the day they squeezed it even though they can't challenge Mark Cavendish also they make it hard for him but in this one I'm with you they also want to win, but today what I have seen there is some conspiracy

@@clipzed well i give you an example Sagan shoved Cavandish the same way as you can see from today, Cavandish got a big injury and they make Sagan pack his bag and say goodbye to the tour de France, but I think you are white and you are not happy with what you are witnessing in this Jiro

TO THE BINI FANS . . . JUST STOP IT! If Bini was so fantastic and superior why are we not seeing him win🤔?? I'll tell you why, it's because he AND HIS WHOLE TEAM need experience!! It doesn't matter how fast you are if you can't get into position. He is learning! Just accept that. He is not this incredible superhero that you people think he is. He's lost 3 sprint stages and he gave 100% in all of them!! A TRUE fan will accept when mistakes are made or admit there was a better rider that day etc NOT make up bullsh1t!! HE NEEDS EXPERIENCE!! HIS ENTIRE TEAM NEEDS EXPERIENCE!! STOP SAYING SOMEONE BLOCKED HIM IN!!! He's blocked/boxed in due to his team and his own actions!!! THEIR mistake not anyone else's fault!!

Cavandish is 3rd and Biniam is 2nd. Biniam would be 1st if he would get help from his team, he is not boxing him self by his action! He was lucky even saved from two accidents! Believe or not he is a hero with such less experience. He is making a history we are proudly of him!

@@samsonmehari7013 😂🤣 you said "WOULD BE". You Bini fans are ridiculous! That is how sprinting works. You don't win every single bunch sprint and you're comparing a 37 year old Cav to a 22 year old Bini and you failed to mention that Cav WON stage 3!! Has Bini won ANYTHING yet🤔??? The answer is NO! He MAY win a stage at the Giro but he is NOT READY AND NEEDS EXPERIENCE!!! He's not this great sprinter you people THINK he is😂 You Bini fans need to learn about the sport before you talk all this nonsense. You sound ridiculous. All of you do. You're going to end up as the most hated and uneducated fans in cycling if you don't figure out how this works. It's really obnoxious how you guys are acting. Have some ckass!

Cav and Caleb should be ashamed of themselves. That was a 27k speed bump with 100k to get back on. Neither deserve shit the rest of the Giro!
