Can students at Taiwanese University speak English? - 台灣大學的學生會說英文嗎?

我們訪問了成功大學的學生。 我們的目標是了解當他們不得不使用英語與外國人交談時，他們的感受如何。 他們覺得使用英語舒服嗎？ 他們會說英語嗎？
We interviewed students from NCKU University. Our goal is to understand how they feel when they have to talk to foreigners in English. Do they feel comfortable using English? Can they speak English?

這是個好主意，走到校園試探學生們的英文，我們自己應該都不太清楚學生的英文程度到哪，其實台灣學生大部份英文程度算不錯，尤其閱讀力很好，也能寫作文 維獨說…，似乎會害怕不太敢開口。我曾跟一些同事在國外工作，也是不太敢開口，還好靠著以前英文基礎算不錯還能簡單應對，謝謝你制播這集讓我們瞭解，期待你每一集的內容哦

The last conversation male who wore CKSH means Chien Kuo (建國) Senior High School, although it change its spelling to Jiangguo (建國) recently. The abbreviation still uses CKSH as tradition. Although this school was found in 1898 and named as Taipei First Male Hight School, but this school is for Japanese student to study, Taiwanese student go to Taipei Second Male Hight School. Taipei Second Male High School changed its name to Cheng Kong (成功) High School after the WWII.

成大在台灣的排名僅次於台大，算是很好的學校。學生入學測驗的英文程度約中高級，畢業的門檻也差不多要有中高級。台灣英文並非母語，台灣人也不習慣說英文，因此說英文的機會比較少，說的能力還要再加強。 National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) , ranked second only to National Taiwan University (NTU), is considered a very reputable university in Taiwan. Generally, students are required to have an intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency to gain admission, same as that of graduation requirement. However, opportunities to use and practice English in Taiwan are relatively limited. Further training may be needed to improve students' speaking ablility.
