I tried the WF1000-XM5's and these. The XM5's are not even close to being 12 times as good as these. I returned the XM5's even though I'd been waiting for them for months. Get cheaper ones like the Space Travels, TWS earbuds are made to break within a couple years so don't spend hundreds on them unless you have money to throw away. It's only a matter of time before your right earbud drains 5 times as fast as the left one.

This is why i like the wf-xm4, the batteries on the xm4 are relatively easy to replace and sony service centers(atleast here, in other countries i think they even give them away) even sells the tips for cheap, so maintenance/longevity of the xm4's is really good and as someone who came from the fiil T1 pro their difference atleast to me is massive especially once you eq the xm4's not to mention the difference in ANC which is crucial to me

Eh, if the drain gets that bad you can just get the battery replaced at a third party shop. This depends on where you live though, where I live it's pretty easy to do so although I believe it's not as convenient in like, North America.

Another great review Aaron, I am glad you found these. I just got a pair and like them sonically more than you do. The app is odd, note you have to hit the "Request" button for each of the three EQ modes to kick in. I do not think the EQ changes anything until you hit "Request" I like the "Monitor" mode best. I think they sound balanced and excellent, and for me the comfort is excellent too. ANC is OK, and the styling is cool, a very poor man's Nothing 2. I think it sounds a bit better than the 2.

Thanks for bringing up this interesting product. I am going to order one for myself and very looking forward to try it out since people been talking good about it everywhere from KZbin to Reddit. Even if it won’t meet my expectations, will still love to keep it at my desk as a collectible item due to its interesting look and case. Btw just wondering if you’ve tried to pair it with a PC or TV via Bluetooth yet? ‘Cuz I am thinking of using the pair on my PC or TV in case I cannot use it as a daily driver. One thing I found with these earbuds is that the tips they come with are not that great, I switched them out for some memory foam tips and they sound 10 times better now.

I finally got Moondrop Space Travels. At first, I was really happy with looks - small, fine, body and sweet leather box. And I turned them on. Well.. I had previously qcy t13 anc.. I can say that mst is like.. I don't know, definitely good sound, but only slightly "clearer" deep tones and bass ... I don't know, I'm not an audiophile, but I assume that these space travels are a bit overhyped all over internet. Maybe because of uniqe looks, brand maybe, but definitely not that WOW sound everybody talking about, but from my opinion.

TWS buds are so disposable that I just don't see a point in spending more than $50 on them, especially considering 95% of the time I'm listening to music I'll be using wired headphones anyway, which is why these are just what I was looking for!

yup you are right what im worried about is how long can it last, will it be worth it for extra features?, and battery drain after few years. i have mine oppo enco buds but after 1 and half years the battery left earbuds has problem where it drains like water only last for 20 min and i cant really do anything about that because i have to open the earbuds and open it means im already breaking it the material and rest of it which shows that tws are disposable and cannot be repair or used again for longer period of time not like wired one where even 10 years still can use. the only poertant things tws should have is battery life, repairable or replacable, anc, latency and sound quality.

Hi Aaron. I have that moondrop space travel. Is it normal that when having a call while playing media, the volume is reduced by 60% and the media sounds muddy? I'm on Android. This is my first time having a TWS. I don't experience this with wired IEM.

I don't have the moondrop space travel but it is probably like what happens when you use bluetooth headphones on windows. Usually, frequencies tend to get crushed on a call. I believe the way Apple handle calls is a bit different than on Android or Windows.

Wavelet!... it is great for ANY headphones or buds... there are preset eqs for hundreds of brands and... for these.. you could just create your own eq that will make a big difference in sound... enjoy!

Theres an app and the volume is aok. You cant expect nothing more for the price. They sound 70 to 80 percent as the highend headphones . Ill give them a 6,5 or 7 out of 10.
