I just got a 1959 White tail deer Maddux TV lamp for $40 so I'm stoked! They go upwards for $100 so I snatched it up. I just buy for myself but when I find good deals, it's like winning the lottery!

Right next to the geisha cup and saucer was 2 Fire King Forest Green splash proof bowls. You could sell those easily.

as you walked down the china aisle near the end of your time in the store, I saw a bowl go by that not only would I have been grabbing I would probably have been crying. It was anything spectacular, except it was one like my mother's that was majorly broken. Oh how I wish I'd been there.

The whale of a guy ceramic is from the mid to late sixties. I have one that was my Dad’s. My Mom bought it for him while on vacation. Think we found his at probably a Stuckey’s store traveling to Georgia.

YES! Totoro is my son and I's together time thing. When he was little we would cuddle up for hours and watch it. He's 27 now and we still bond over it.

I saw that Totoro purse out of the corner of my eye when you were filming the shelves and I thought to myself, I hope she doesn't miss that Totoro purse. And lo and behold, you picked it up! It looks in nice condition, you should be able to resell it for a decent profit.

About the broken lady - in my opinion a glue called E6000 works much better than gorilla glue. It seems to glue anything to anything.

Sea shell crafters use E6000. It holds very heavy shells in place. I use it for everything.

the only thing it doesn't do is hold up well in higher temps. I live in South FL and was using it to make items to sell, and then storing them in the garage until time to take them into the booth space. Did not last well. I use 2 part epoxy for a stronger lasting bond.

The ivory lamp on the floor behind your chair, I have a pair of those since the 90’s I bought at auction. It was from a smokers home and I spent hours scrubbing all the nooks and crannies with a toothbrush to get them cleaned up.

As far as the little birds you picked up go, I collect them and put them in my glass faced cupboards. So every cupboard has a bird looking out. I sometimes make a small arrangement of them looking at something, like a painted egg. Like "who laid this egg?"

There was a capidamonti lamp behind that broken chair. They were antiques of my wealthy grandmas when I was a child next to our beds. I’m 64 now. I am a flamingo collector and found a huge pair of them, at least a two footer, cappi statue. I paid like four hundred for it. I’m sure by now it’s a one of a kind. I love it so. ❤️👍🏼

Have been watching these videos for a week now. Have no idea how many I have binge watched. Went thrifting today to our local Savers store. Turned everything over, lol. Saw a sunflower metal platter that I loved. It paid $5.00, found it for sale online for $88. I think watching these videos is going to get me in trouble, I thrift with a whole new eye. Did you know around Fall season you can go to your local paint your own pottery place and paint your own pumpkins 🎃. My sister & I did in downtown Lancaster Pennsylvania. And they turned out amazing. It’s fun to do with the kids too. While we were there, a lady had paint a giant pumpkin in a black & white checkered with a MacKenzie Childs inspired theme. It was beautiful. My sister did a tray and I did a teapot.
