Thanks, very helpful but some advice on the upper bolts would have been helpful. Also, I have watched a few videos on this, and in each one the transfer case just slides out. I didn’t find that to be true with me. It took us 4 hours just to separate the transfer case from the transmission. Still aren’t sure what the problem was, maybe the mechanics lol. You posted this about 6 months ago. I doubt that you will see it. Thanks

It should slide right apart as long as all the bolts are removed I had a few times when I forgot or didn't see a bolt and it gave me hell 😤 thanks for watching feel free to ask any questions I'll help to the best of my knowledge stay tuned!!!

I am doing that on my 2004 dodge 4x4 on the top bolts I use a couple extensions and do them from behind

What should a basic cost be for all the work you just did?
@builtbyray7298 ай бұрын
I would say between $800 and $1500 on the labor

Hey brother, I have a question for you. Do you know if those bell housing numbers 064-9 have to be the same on the new or used transmission? I wanna replace mine with a used one, but I got some people saying it has to be the same, and some people said not, so I'm confused about it, thanks for the whole information you brought for everybody

No to familiar with Dodge parts but the one I was swapping out here was replaced with a used one from a auto wrecking yard for $600 just to give you an idea not sure if that was a good deal or not I’m more of a Chevy guy
