KL, the city that never sleeps. Still remember the time when I was still working in KL, would go out almost every night to Hard Rock Cafe because they had this one really awesome rock band from Thailand that played there. Then headed to the 24hrs mamak restaurant after Hard Rock closed around 3am, had some food and head back around 5am. And head out to work around 7am, almost 2 hrs stuck in daily traffic to reach the office lol Sometimes me and my roomates would just chill and singing at karaoke, where the cheapest rates were usually for 3 hrs straight for one room, so we would go there around 10-11pm after dinner and sing our hearts out and again, hangout at mamak 24hrs restaurant for couple of hours. Yup, very quiet city xD

@@SideTripLife Thanks xD There's a lot more to KL pre-pandemic. After I got tired of all those night life, I joined a group of adventures random people whom I never met before from Facebook group that specifically indulged in outdoor activities like mountain and rock climbing, waterfall/jungle trekking, water rafting, paintballs, food search, futsal, just about anything 😆 Quite a number of expat also joined our trip each time. The way the organizer of the group handled the events were also pretty convenience even if nobody knows anybody. Just pay a certain amount needed and listed on the event page - this is usually for some entrance fees etc, then bring all the items necessary for the trips including some food and then meet at certain location where they will arranged for carpools to the destination. There was this one trip to one waterfall deep in the jungle where we had like 70 random people joined, from all walks of life and ethnicity and religious background. Was doing that kind of adventurous thing for around 2 years almost every weekend, where all the usual attendees of the events became closed friends that we celebrated just about every kind of religious celebration together at our respective homes, until I finally quit my job and went back to my hometown. Most fun times in my life :) I missed my friends but never missed KL though, stuck in KL traffics everyday s*cks 😆
