The weeds you were whacking down were the non-native invasive garlic mustard. That is what they stink was. I was pretty sure it was, then you commented on the smell! Unfortunately, it will continue to be a problem unless the property is very carefully maintained from here on out. You could spray weed killer on it all, but I am certain there are years worth of seeds in the soil already, so it will continue to be an issue. The best thing to do is to keep on it with the weed whacker, and never let it go to seed again!

Those are human teeth. I could tell one was an upper molar and one was an incisor. I can see where maybe some kid would bury his baby teeth, but those are adult teeth. Very interesting
