Hamza - the difference in your content since moving home is night and day. Every upload is high quality and has such a raw, genuine feel. I can tell you're spending your days productively, thinking deeply about your content and hitting flow states as you record and that you thrive in this lifestyle. Your previous content was starting to feel repetitive and like you'd moved past your peak, but you clearly show the capacity to reinvent yourself and think long term, which is rare among social media influencers these days. You have a gift for presenting information in a clear and engaging manner and it is inspiring to see you use it as a force for good. Wishing you nothing but the best brother.

I just had a breakthrough about "Brain Points." Often when we call someone "awkward", what we really mean is that they're making too many decisions too quickly. You've seen it- they change where they put their hands every second, etc. It's almost like they've reserved TOO MANY Brain Points for the interaction, ie. they haven't spent them on productive work. Productive workers are often less awkward, because they don't bother second-guessing themselves- in fact, they literally don't have the extra Brain Points to worry about it.

Can't describe how much respect I've felt for this man recently. We all know KZbin doesn't like videos over 10 minutes, let alone hour long videos. Yet Hamza has been uploading back to back hour long videos. Just raw emotion knowledge sharing. Hamza is just different from the other sell improvement KZbinrs. Most of them feel like they're trying to sell me something, or just upload repetitive videos to fulfill their upload quota. I am especially grateful for this video, as this is a topic I've been struggling with recently.

KZbin loves long videos. The more a KZbin video can keep Viewers glued to KZbin the better. The longer the video the better for the KZbinr. It’s just risky as people are fickle , have short attention spans and don’t often want to sit down to an hour long video.

Hi Hamza - this long comment is basically a virtual hug. I am on 27 mins of this video and paused to watch the rest later. I just stopped what I was doing to write you a message. I watched a video of yours last night - oh yes, it was the monk mode video and I watched on full screen and really paid attention to all you were saying. I have a habit of writing to myself - is it called 'journalling' ? but anyway i have a word document and it's soooooooooo long with just all my thoughts and ideas and everything on my mind - me chatting to myself really. So last night while watching I wrote some ideas down afterwards - sometimes I call certain ideas/ thoughts 'awakenings' and after listening to you I certainly had a lot of those where the penny dropped and I was like omg! I get it - he's so right... and I'd be writing something thinking omg this is exactly what Hamza was talking about. So I woke up today, and thank God I was stlll in thining mode. Started to write on my document and I'm on fire! It's like it's all making sense- how to sort out my life - and here's the reason I'm writing this message - a moment ago I just said - gee I'd love to give Hamza a big hug - to say thanks - it's becuase of your monk mode video that I'm doing all this. I really feel last night/ today is a breakthrough for me mentally. I'm seeing things in my mind and issues that are totally blocking me moving forward and it's thanks to you. I better stop now, this comment is probably already too long. Gill x

I know it's off-topic, but I'd like a future video about how to keep going when results are not coming. When you've spent months developing skills and creating things and, despite the progress and improvements, you no longer see an ending. You have failed too much, or your environment has pressured you too much, or you can feel the ghosts of the past weighing on you and you want to give up. When it feels like the amount of work you put in doesn't matter, because the results are always gonna be the same and you'll end up burning out anyway.

@Bogasooo
@Bogasooo Жыл бұрын
@@MattGarcyaDC I move things around every day when things come up. Keep in mind the day you scheduled on your calendar is your "ideal day". Keep 1 hour blank everyday, or 2 if your day is more unstable. Also have some tasks everyday that you wouldn't mind skipping or reducing the time you dedicate to them. For example if work stuff comes up and I need 30mins more, I'll just skip 30mins of reading, since is not at the top of my priorities, and something more important came up. So I'll end up reading 30mins instead of 1hour. Also you need to be optimizing your calendar so it's more like your "real day", also having in mind that you still can control most of your day and setting up your "ideal day".

This video was uploaded right as I was contemplating between work or procrastination and its made me realise that I've been reversing all of these positive changes that I had made in my life due to laziness and its time to get a grip again. Thanks for the wake up call man.

0:00 dear Hamza, Throughout the past 6 months I have had it almost impossible, before those six months I was absolutely killing it, everyday waking up feeling great and ready to tackle on anything and I was fueled with great motivation to keep doing better even if it was near impossible and doing great with chores, studies, and other endeavours but after that I fell out of that and now I started to try to be like my past self but any good or great thing I do like reading, dopamine detox, learning piano, trying out for races just doesn’t work, i dont feel motivated or like I did anything accomplishing, honestly life has become a living hell, constant pain from absorbing too much dopamine but if I try to not get on dopamine and do something productive it hurts even more and so im stuck in a loop of Dopamine and pain. I have tried some fixes for this from what I thought could fix it but that didnt work and so I went to the internet but there were no videos for things like this. I dont know anymore.

Ramadan's coming up, I'd like to see what you think about that lifestyle and productivity. Personally i saw my productivity skyrocket 10x. I may not have gained any muscle but my body is detoxed from not having all that food from the day (due to dry fasting) and instead I consume spiritual nourishment throughout the day, reading extra like Quran, prayer, charity, reflections etc. After the first few days of Ramadan (my body is adjusting to the lifestyle) i feel more energized. Its only until the last 1-2 hours that i feel the hunger and by then my body is already going through a process of autophagy. I recommend that even if you are not religious, to try dry fasting for atleast week (of course dont do this if you have serious medical conditions and consult your doctor or nutrition specialist). Our bodies need a detox, especially from our current unnatural lifestyles.

Hi guys, I've already created a timetable. Instead of adding breaks, I used an idea, I developed myself. I use three colours: grey, light grey and white. Grey means that I have to do it (like morning routine, first and last meal, evening routine). Light grey means that I have to try to do it, but I can swap them out for things, that I would consider to be very important (for example I don't have to go to uni every single time if I have an important date then). I use white for extra work and fillers (like work in the household). I put in more of these, so I still get my stuff done, but I allow myself to do breaks, while being in one of those white time slots. I hope, my comment is helpful in any way. If you have any questions or advice for me, please feel free to just ask/tell me! With energy T

Hamza, I'm not a bro and I cannot relate to you for the most part but I still clicked on and listened to your every word (after seeking how to stay focused and excel in academic writing uk). As an ethnic minority female adult (with too many ongoing I left an abusive,uneducated,disabled,controlling,elderly, outcast,parental home but am absolutely no better off today. I have no routine other than going to classes as a and continuing to apply for job. I have been and still am a heavily bullied woman (Including by children, teenagers and adults of all genders and ages). I've never dated and have never been in nor ever will be in a relationship. I'm extremely outcast and undeveloped. I am not successful. I'm still unemployed. I still have no degree! I still have no family nor friends. I have never accessed nor taken tobacco or drugs, not even those vape things people do! I have never turned to illegal substances. I found out my father passed away and feel guilt despite having valid reasons to have left that household. I have no money. No income. No savings. No lifestyle. Other than perhaps the extreme examples of those worse off, I cannot think of anyone worse off than me right now. But every day I am fighting and still trying. I have no support network. I am also 30. I have been viciously mistreated at short lived workplaces (barely past the probationary period). I have no good memories. I cannot even focus when sitting down to simply read a book because I am constantly flooded, bombarded, tormented by unwanted, traumatic, impulsive thoughts. I wish I could begin a channel and speak to people openly and monetise on it ethically, but I a far too limited with too many barriers and therefore I cannot. I wish I could find a solution. WIsh you well and hope your work continues to help many.

Hey I actually was in a similar situation. I had my exam today for which I had been given 10 preparatory holidays and I was able to just finish the syllabus. My exam went well but this shit fucking bothers me. I am also addicted to social media and porn. But here's the thing, just 3-4 months back I used to watch porn 3 times day if not more and now it's like- once every 2 days. What I've realized from watching hamza is that quitting habits is a slow process. And whatever negative thoughts your mind throws at you, you have to be positive. I've been consistently meditating and Journaling to have a control over my thoughts and I've been hitting the gym to feel good about myself. It's barely been like- 2 months since I've properly gotten into self improvement. This is harsh but it's the truth. You can't quit your habits overnight. It'll take months if not years. If you're watching porn say 40 times a month try to reduce it to 37 maybe 35. And slowly month by month bring it down and replace it by some good habits. Of course you'll fail but how you take that failure is fully dependent on you brother. Hamza has also made a video on this I think that'll help you a lot. I don't remember the name but just search up "my most raw video yet hamza" and I think you'll find it. And bro parents and friends will bring you down even if it's unintentional. You have to tell yourself that you're making slow changes you're making yourself better. Even it's by 0.0001 percent. So don't listen to people's criticism. Try to surround yourself by supportive friends, and go at it slowly. One step at a time. And yea you got this bro.
