I have loved the music of Elvis because of the American greatness and I grew up playing records of Elvis! The kids of Elvis fans are now enjoying Elvis and the greatest people in the biz say the best compliment you’re ever going to get will be your music (lessons) being played for a new generation of people.

HeyI will spare you a 10 page novel, Long story short, youngest daughter wants me to play this song at her wedding next August. It is now mid November 2021. In the middle of the night thought of this. And thought I would check it out, it is a lot like I figured it would be. But it has a little more to it. Pretty much piece of cake so to speak. However concerned about singing the song as well as playing it. And good job learning it and the night before the video. That can be difficult I’m sure. Great job! Thank you for being a good teacher and a good person. You’re a good example in this world. Thank you so much stay well enjoy your loved ones. Jim

What a wonderful thing to do for your daughter. My recommendation would be to really get the picking pattern down. Then I would try standing up and walking around while trying to do the picking pattern. Once you can do that, you should be able to sing and play at the same time. Oftentimes many of my students can hum and play at the same time but not sing and play at the same time.

Such a great song!! Elvis was so much better singing ballads than the more rock n roll stuff. This looks a little complicated as I've not got into finger picking yet! Maybe this is a good one to start with. One thing why do you guys say K po (capo) it's cap o. To make the K sound it would need an "e" either after the "a" or the "o", after all you don't pronounce "cap" as "cape" do you 😉. Anyway Lauren another great lesson 👍 x

Hey good day, thought I was subscribed on both channels. However just made this one subscribe. It's all goofy. Anyways just to let you know, thank you for your thoughtful opinion and advice. Appreciate it very much. Will attempt to follow that. And I'm sure with that could succeed for the most part. I am an artist Blaksmith etc. etc., and own worst critic. So music has been that way as well. Sometimes we get less critical upon ourselves as we realize all the other imperfections with things around us. And each song or creative piece of something or other we do, is in it's own moment of creativity at that time and place. They are not mass produced and such. Anyways, sorry about the 10 page novel! Could almost have it published . Thanks again keep up the great work look forward to more of your good stuff. Stay well enjoy your loved ones and have a beautiful day. Jim
