sorry but dont try to blame your mistake on road signs. You simply just didnt lean in to the corner and you was trying to keep the bike up straight, therfore over shot the corner. If you want to be fast then dont rely on road signs it was just a bad riding mistake

Mate as much as I like your content between this crash and the one on your 950……you need to slow down on the road or you gonna end up hurt-and that’s not what anyone wants!! There were plenty of warning (2x Slow on the road etc) and even at the speed you were doing you couldn’t have made it round the corner no worries…..but I think you panicked and then wherever your looking the bike follows……and your focused on what your gonna hit so the bike follows……if you had dragged your eyes away from the big fence and round the corner I think you wouldn’t have made it!! Metal can be fixed-main thing is you are (unbelievably) ok👍🏼

Was about to write the same thing. Two similar cases, drifting off the road from outside corner... better not to try your luck third time. Take a click or two easier on the roads and save that "full send" mode for track days! Anyway, glad that you walked away from it!

Ouch. The Grim Reaper nearly had you there brother. Glad you're OK. Fellow Hyper 950 SP rider here from the South West, been following you for a while, love your content. These bikes do egg you on for sure. I had a big off this time last year when I hit a deer at 70mph (so I'm on my 2nd Hyper, first was destroyed). Put a few things into perspective. I have 2 little-ones at home, and I know you have kids too. I don't want to sound preachy, please don't take it that way, but during our rides, we have to ask ourselves if the way that we're riding (corner entry, overtakes, etc) 100% guarantees our kids will see us return home. If the honest answer is "no", we have to wind it in a bit and chill. You're a better rider than me for sure, but sometimes your speed and overtakes make my hoop twitch like a rabbit's nose, I have to say. Take it easy, your family need you around and so do us degenerate Hyper addicts!

100% its a balance of fun and being safe as possible. My kids are always in my thoughts when i ride- but even when thinking theres a 20% margin i had a close one last year on a right hand corner exist with powder gravel in the crown of my lane- sent me i to a massive tank slapper- i just remembered ' look where you want to go' kept my eyes on the riders jacket in front of me ( who stayed in the right hand wheel track and avouded the s##t in the road) and thank god or stars i didnt hit the bank at 60- 70mph. This one made me reflect and go back to examine the road... heavy rain wash 2-3 weeks prior pushed gravel 50m+ down the road from a rural farm driveway.

Sorry to see your crash. You are well is the main thing. You should attend a training corning school it will make a load of difference to your riding. Slight rear brake, with push on handle bar and look where you want to go might have saved you. Lucky no on coming traffic. Wish you and your bike a speedy recovery.

When going to fast on a road you don't know. You are just asking for this to happen. And you could be just as easily dead in different circumstances. Every road with lots of turns will have atleast one turn that tightens unexpectedly. And usually there will be no signs.

Sell the bike. Skills shown here are that of a total beginner and people that chicken to make so easy turns can never learn how to drive unless countless of track hours are invested.
