One of my favourite things about Strictly has always been the routines by the professionals, but this is just another level. Even years later, I keep coming back to watch it. Just everything about it.. the fantastic song, the story, the INCREDIBLE choreography (that moment when she runs up the dancer's backs)... and the acting is truly wonderful too. Best. Routine. Ever!

Lots of comments about not quite understanding the story. The song is about one person wanting to swap places with another and while the deal in the song is struck with God, in this dance Aljaz is supposed to be the Devil. Luba and Graziano are in love. Karen see's them and feels sad because she has no-one and wonders what it would be like to swap places with Luba. Aljaz makes a spell to put Karen in Luba's place (by the giving of the necklace) and she feels how it feels to be in love. Graziano is confused when he see's Luba however and, realising this is wrong, Karen breaks the spell by taking off the necklace, allowing Graziano and Luba to be together.

We are so lucky to have "our" professional dancers from all over the world. This dance suited Aljaz and Graziano so perfectly. Karen looked so powerful and Luba so gentle. Well done to the whole team for a perfect dance piece.

This blew me away!!! Aljaz was perfect as the dark lord, but Karen completely made that as the woman longing to be loved by the handsome prince/hero in Graziano. That move at 1.57 where Karen runs across their backs, I literally went "Wow" out loud! Absolutely incredible. The whole story and atmosphere completely captivated me for those few minutes and the concept of the choreography with the moving platforms was so creative. I've only just realised now watching it back that the story is completely in sync with the lyrics of the song; incredibly clever. Haunting and mesmerising. Pro dance of the series!

Absolutely epic - need to watch it 50 times just to see all that's going on in the background - the pro drummers! One of the best pro-dance routines I've ever seen and so pleased nobody got hurt on that moving platform!

@@harryboi628 no, way way harder. They had 15 dancers not 2. That makes choreographing the precise movements and placements so much harder. Ashley and Pasha's dance was Fan Tas Tic. But this would have been much more complicated.

@@merrynchristian7404 of course I totally agree with you. Also Ashley has a limited space and both of them has to keep on moving and adjust to where their partner’s are in the platform. This performance by the pros is already hard. It would make it complicated and way harder if some of them are outside the moving platform. What am I saying is, moving platform is nothing new.

Kate Bush seems to walk on water in the U.K. There is hardly a programme which doesn’t feature her songs. Even the closing ceremony of the Olympics was all about her. A Coral Room is used a lot and there was even a garden programme on one afternoon with an orchestral version of Moments of Pleasure. The one and only Kate Bush.

I like the storytelling the professionals do for their group dance routines. This one along with their Halloween sweet dreams routine from a few years back with Jeanette Manrara and Aljaz as Snow White and Prince Charming that was an amazing routine. Good song choice also.
