I've been saving up hours on this bike so that I could ride it in the mountains and still keep the hours around 20 hours total before I give it away. So today was the first time in a long time that I rode the bike. It was great in the first mountain ride.
I'm really impressed with how well the forks soaked up all the rocks on this trail. It was phenomenal .

Happy birthday, Kyle! Thanks for the great videos! I got back into dirtbiking after a 30-year hiatus. I picked up a 2013 YZ125 last fall and have been watching a lot of your videos to brush up on skills. I just turned 48 a few weeks ago and I feel like a kid again! 😁😁😁

Im currently on a 2021 xc 250 which i love. I do want to try that xc 125 because the 250 is more than enough for me😊

I'd love to see the new 150 XC-W TPI's tested on your channel. I know you've done the 150 before but they say the new TPI version makes considerably more torque right off the bottom. Considering it over a 250 XC-W for my next bike.

I’m 205lb high C low B vet woods rider in MO. I just bought a 2022 125 xc and it’s plenty fast! No it won’t lug well, but that’s the point, you gotta hammer it, fan the clutch, shift lots, brake late and get on the gas out of corners early, it’s so fun! For context my other bike is a 2018 300xcw with an RK-TEK head, Lectron, fatty pipe, v-force reeds and full suspension treatment from Kreft. I run VP T2 in both bikes. The 300 is scary fast and pulls like a spanked ape right off idle, but I’ve got to really focus if I’m riding hard or it gets away from me. The 125 xc on the other hand makes me feel like a hero, it’s pinned most of the time and never bites me back! Suspension is stock except for the addition of a Kreft plush tank (which I highly recommend), I’m running 8.9 bar and have the Kreft plush tank on the soft setting. Still running the stock shock spring too. It’s obviously not as good as the 300 with Kreft’s full treatment but it’s very plush in the woods with out being mushy. It’s stops on a dime too and corners really well. It’s not just a play bike, it’s fast, even with a 205lb-er on it! Two thumbs up for the 2022 125xc IMO.

As long as you stay on the pipe, any cross country or enduro 125 will be fine. I have hundreds of hours on a Husqvarna WR125(the bike that taught me technical riding) and I can safety say I know that bike inside and out. It’s the rider, not necessarily the bike.

Welcome to the 40+ rider club Kyle, best way to spend your birthday is getting a good ride in!👍 Sounds like it's time for knee braces testing bud. I'm forced to wear one on my right after ACL reconstruction at age 21. I never ride without it now & has saved me from repeat surgeries at least 3 times. I'm shopping for a new set soon. So many advancements have occurred for riders, and prices are more affordable now too. Brraaap on rider!

@@holdenf6167 It smoothed out the power band. Money 💰 well spent. I used the 6 too. It works well with the FMF pipe and silencer. The combination made it easier on hard pack and rocks but still works well in the softer areas. Hope this helps.
