The "average Joe" can become an expat and also be very disappointed but being an "average Joe", he would be very disappointed and stuck there. Then what?

@@Eduardo-m2i well first and foremost, you are absolutely correct. A person with limited savings, and an income that is inconsistent can definitely become “stuck”. So honestly most men are not financially secure without a guaranteed income to begin their journey. But anyone can, should become financially stable and able to change that status. But with anything, you need a plan, and put worth the effort.

First the quality of life is not in the Philippines because of air pollution, smoke, noise and dangerous driving. Philippines is good for visiting specific key areas and finding a partner but not living there. Unless you are poor in America having problems financially Philippines will be better financially but not enjoyable because of the extreme hot and humid weather, earthquakes and tsunamis. If you want to help out poor people that would be one of the only reason staying but apart from that no. 😊. Beside that most strangers leaved Philippines within 3 to 5 years 😊

@@josephrobi6806 unfortunately I find the air pollution, smoke, noise and dangerous driving, along with hurricanes, and hot humid weather in some states in the US…. But surprisingly a lot of people still end up moving there, even if it is for part of the year. Different strokes for different folks.

@ Of course United stated is not perfect but way better. Asia is 90% of natural disasters because of the ring of fire. Philippines don’t have a good economy that make the country a third world. Too many people not enough good paying jobs and too much low pay jobs that is why most Filipino dream to go to the USA and don’t want to come back to Philippines after tasting freedom
@TheExpatReview12 күн бұрын
@ I have found the “dream” of going to America is not as freedom as they used to. The idea of working abroad to support their families are the driving factor, but “freedom”, as you say is not a term I have heard them use. It has been more of a necessity to support.

@@TheExpatReview Yes, the states has its share of natural calamities. The benefits far outweigh the dangers.

@@josephrobi6806 Very true. That's is why so many illegal immigrants want to try their luck and risk everything for that chance.

@@edhite5327 well in all honesty, a lot depends upon where you are at in life. Evaluate your Health, your Wealth, and most importantly Mindset. If you are stable in those three aspects, then I would have a serious conversation about starting the process! If one or more needs improvements, then I would start working on getting them up to par. The best part is, with sufficient preparation, planning, and effort we honestly are able to do anything!!
