I have the exact same one at work. Its first job was to drill 40, ⅝" holes 10" deep in old concrete. Made the boss a believer in a rotary hammer over an "impact" drill real fast.

Definitely gonna be better than regular hammer drills for concrete, just takes a while for demo work.

Have a pair. Never used them for anything but the hammer drill... works great, drilled more than 1k 5/8 holes to pin concrete... works great at that task

Definitely! That’s the plan, to use it for drilling holes more than demo work

The problem most people have with these rotary hammers is pushing the tool too hard, thereby damping the power of the vibrations. The tool should be gripped firmly, but using its own weight only, proceed to carry out the required work. You will find that if you apply pressure to the tool, it will be a lot less effective in its actions.

A Hilti rotary hammer would’ve gone to town on that one.

@@davidperry4013 yea we usually use the Hilti and the Bosch at work, melt through concrete like butter

Been hearing some very decent and kind words about the 20v cordless version from Bauer. This one also looks interesting but yeah, rather keep it for 'lite' tier jobs. 😅

Vevor made an sds demo jack hammer with 19 joules for under $100. I bet that Bauer is under 10 joules. I own quite a few Vevor products and they have yet to fail me. Only a fraction of the cost of big name brands

@@Kaleb_RoSs i understand that we got an old corded bosch at my job from the late 90s (that thing is older than me lol) it hits way harder. They started investing in new Milwaukees they are louder got a more annoying sound hit faster but just as hard as normal hammer drill old Bosch is way to go with them definitely
