The mind has been conditioned from childhood to create problems. Hence, the problems that the mind is attempting to solve are the same problems created by the mind. If one sees this, one becomes wise.

Where there's choice there's no freedom. Choice only exist when brain is confused. When brain clear, there's no choice, Only direct perception and right action.

The very solution from the problematic brain creates another problem and that is what our politicians (the whole world) are doing. Insane Master!!!

One only needs to look at the way we live life to realise that this man talking to people for most of his extravagant life had no effect whatsoever.

I wish I was intelligent enough to see what he sees, this very motive to go beyond the self sometimes feels like a big problem, like a wall that is growing continuously

why do we try to go beyond the self? its actually much more difficult to be your real conditioned self in the first place because we have been told by someone else or by our own knowledge in what we should be and shouldn't be. To be your conditioned self is to be totally open to the depths of your consciousness. Which can be painful or even dangerous. To be your actual conditioned self first and then to observe and perceive to go beyond it without effort but from the perception of truth requires great deal of awareness. And with the awareness of an ordinary human such as myself, whose awareness doesn't extend beyond my own needs. I think I'm trapped here forever. I might as well try to get to know my conditioned self.

When thoughts conflict with each other or a single thought expands within the limited space of mind, a psychological problem may be created. When one sees this as a fact, he may have no conflicts within. Mere fact of seeing the fact may dissolve problems. We can not have situation where there are no thoughts. But if one can see what is happening as a fact, it may dissolve from within. So if we can have a mindfulness of facts, we may not have any problem.

Problems arise when the observer thinks itself different from the observed. That's when choice exists, i.e. when thought (posing itself as the "me", the observer) is separate from the observed. For example, when the mind chatters we want to make it stop. Then, there is conflict because we, again, "think" that we (the observer) ought to stop the chattering (the observed), which can only happen when thought thinks itself to be separate from the observed, in this case as the "controller" of the chattering. However, the chattering is the fact, and the pursuit to stop it is the pursuit of the non-fact. So when one stays with the fact, the chattering, one sees that one is the chattering, or in Krishnamurti's way of putting it: The observer is the observed. Then, there is no conflict. I might be mistaken, but this is what I take from it.

Do people ever actually have conversations in these comments or do they just mess around with Krishnamurti's words and make them next to incomprehensible 😂

I think any serious man must be concerned about the future, about what is going to happen to mankind.Especially if one has children, what is their future? Are they going to repeat the same old pattern that human beings have been following for a million years, more or less? Or is there going to be fundamental change in their psyche, their whole consciousness? That is the real question _not atomic war or conventional war_but whether it has to be man against man. J K
