I own a 70 comet 2670 pounds 350ish hp on a 150 shot. Hurt a lot of big motor feelings. It'll hook in a mud puddle. Luv your channel big fan.

I had a 331 from dss back in the day, tfs heads, 1050 bg demon, victor jr intake, two nos kits 200 and then 250 second stage. Tremec tko dual disc clutch masters. She made a shit load of power 700+rwhp and a ton of suspension work. Too much money. All in a 89lx with a cervinis stalker body kit. I miss that car. But someone needed the car more than me and money talked.

Weight is a big factor as is short wheel base 300hp to rear is fast in a fox if you know how to drive it

These are some of the hardest cars to dial in on the streets but when you do they will hurt feelings. My stock 302 with a V2 S-Trim(16lbs) w/mondo ice cooler & QA1 all the way round (T56) (center force) (ET Streets) was a beast on the streets. I took down so many DSS create motors. Granted this was in 2008 they were so tired of me they stole the car! Great video and work with the rides.

Those filters can be a hazard if/when that metal center comes apart on a boosted car. I'm a big fan of the AEM dryflow.

Got a obs chevy with a stock bottom end lt1 carb swapped Edelbrock top end 340 whp before the holley efi even then step dad foxbody 290 to the wheel would get ahead of the car . Getting a t bird soon building the 302 in it and a 306 sbf fully aftermarket forged assembly should be a riot 🙂.

The old p head! Dustin porier 🤣 Hey brother I got a nice set of late 90s steel trick flow high ports heads that would replace those p heads. They are 202 stainless valves and been milled l, double springs at 650 lift . They are complete for 600. He will need to get roller rockers or use the rollers off his if he has.

Love this all the way.. I know you dont wanna hear it but a dig is real racing ! Driver needed for that... If all your doing is testing top end power then I get it.. At the end of the day one requires something that may not always be available to go faster... NOS. The other one always has what it needs... Ill take that over the NOS anyday... Had it , loved it... but still prefer having it when I need it all the time.

How is that mr.freeze holding up on the other car, are u still running it?…….i was considering running one on my vortech supercharged LS in my c10……..it would be a whole lot easier than going to e85, and im running a terminator X so id assume the ecu would do its job on keeping the air fuel ratio in check….its not a max effort build, just a little city cruiser so im not chasing numbers , just want it for a safety net more the less!!!

The nitrous car is basically how I’m building my first fox. Just purchased an 89 GT. Has an Edelbrock setup so I’m expecting 320 at the wheel after the carb swap then definitely throwing a 175 shot on. Already 5 lug swap with a some hardened 4.10 in the rear need a TKO and clutch next. What Andrew’s suspension setup?

Nitrous is simply the best way to go. Had a ranger with a built 351 that went 9's with a 250 shot. Mopped the streets of my hometown with that same ranger, with a mostly stock 302 and 125 shot. Good times. (for a bit of reference tho, I had a turbo Acura Integra and a boosted car is 100000% more fun to daily). The sound of the turbo and blow off valve is delightful.

500 reliable, consistent and heart breaker. The agenda of 4 digit numbers is out of pocket and not reality. Two simplest combinations that also won’t cost you $50k in motor without power adder. “Real talk” 500 is a high 9 and drive home. Happy happy happy

Specter filters are trash. Speaking from experience on a buddies pro charged 416 on his c5 vette. 207hp lost from running that exact filter from just re,owing it and it was new same day. They’re great if u don’t want shit to get in your motor but horrible other wise. Afe silver or green filter are the only choices for power if u need a filter on. Both rob 40-60hp still unfortunately. But is what it is
