Great find you guys the car sounds awesome. I just sent my A9L out for repairs so tired of it intermittently running good and then not. I do base idle resets like a pro because ive done it so many times thanks to your how to vids. And yet here I am hopefully this gets it right my car is called Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde because you never what your going to get. And it can change from street light to street light. Thanks for all you do.

Yep, too tight valve adjustment will make run bad, and no enough timing will make it lazy, awesome fix guys, she is sounding much better.

My thing is with rockers, I see alot of people say tighten the nut down until you can’t spin the pushrod, that is way too tight. You should have a little resistance when tightening the nut down with a wrench but if you have to crank on the wrench it’s wrong and redo it!

Keep an eye on that inductive delay setting otherwise the timing will "walk" as you increase RPM. On the Holley, enable static timing, set it to XX degree, check idle timing. Then rev to ~4,000RPM and ensure timing stays. If it starts walking, most people start out with 100 usec as a good start point and then adjust up or down from there depending on what your car does.

Beautiful car! What is it about the blower cars that purposely have small cams? Is it the lobe separation? I have only built and owned N/A strokers over the years in my foxes. Im a big fan of the Anderson stuff. I have a N111 598 601 lift in my 331, i want to add a ys trim and everyone saying i must change cam, do i have to ? Car has 456 gears with old school 26 spline tremec. Full cnc victor juniors with victor eft intake. Any thoughts?

Any cam is a nitrous or blower cam, a custom cam would b altimate

I thought on a blower fox you’d want the timing retarded back more than that? Such as companies recommending 6-8 degrees. Not really sure I’m new to the blower game and am about to put one on my car soon that I have.

Supercharger and manifold started heating the air being forced into your engine resulting in power loss and can in some instances lead to engine knock. Few ways to remedy it include heat exchanger, intercooler, ice box etc….. at a certain point if you spin a super/turbo so much, without proper cooling they can become a negative in your package

Timing should be locked out at 25.0 degrees on the terminator X cars.

Static timing is just used for verification. Once verified you go back to using your timing table as normal with whatever timing your car needs.
