In today's video, we focus on Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnola, and his task of stopping Saquon Barkley. The Philadelphia Eagles know what they do well, and Eagles Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore has stuck to the Plan for many weeks. But don't look now because Saquon has started to open lanes for Jalen Hurts and the Passing Game. The NFL has saved the best game for last.

Hey Steve - Just wanted to send my thoughts and prayers your way for your daughter. I also wanted to say that I can empathize with what you're going through with your daughter. My son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 6 months old. We found a doctor in NYC who specialized in it and was able to remove it entirely. That first year was hell...and for the first 5 years after, every time we had to have him tested, some of that fear and uncertainty came flooding back. Now he is a thriving 9 year old who was considered to be cured a few years ago. I trust that your daughter will have a very positive outcome!

I'm so glad that your son received a complete remission bill of health. My grandmother went through caner treatment, and one of my close friends that I worked with fough colon/rectal cancer. I can only imagine what you and your family were going through. That's what makes it tough, you want to take the burden on for them, but it definitely feels helpless at times. I needed to hear that story because I was starting to get down about everything, and I really appreciate it!

Yeah. I feel both of you. My daughter had bone cancer. She was initially misdiagnosed with a benign tumor but a year later, when it came back, they realized it wasn’t chondroblastoma , it was Chondrosarcoma (an aggressive cancer with a 5% survival rate) It was misdiagnosed because that type of cancer had never been found in anyone under 80 years old until her. She was 13 at the time. It was by far the darkest time of my life. I know how helpless you can feel. Sure, my daughter was older but staying strong for sick children, regardless of their age, is so important. It’s really hard to stay strong without being able talk about it. I’m glad you have this space to share your struggles. Just know that others have been through stuff like this and you can make it too. Thanks for what you do and keep talking about it. You have to be ok to help her.

You and your wife are great people for caring for your niece...we did the same for my niece and nephew 36 years ago...our prayers are with you...hold her if you care,...touch her...that is soooo important during this time...talk to her and express yourself freely...that is also very big....let this group know what you need...we have our notifications on

Thank you! I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s struggles with seizures. They’re definitely disruptive and scary. It’s so hard to explain because the first few times they happened we didn’t think much of it. We thought it was a vision thing, or growth thing. However, one day she did it and I noticed the inward crunch, and a very slight look off with her eyes to the upper left, for a split second. That’s what tough about this, it happens in clusters, and they can be really tough to notice. I wish you and your wife the best. You are in our thoughts and prayers too. 🙏

I think what the national media forgot while giving their million different takes over this season is... At the end of the day, someone's defense has to line it up and stop this offense. When the main cornerstones of our offense have been available: Jalen, Saquon, A.J., DeVonta, and Goedert. No one has beat us. Atlanta won while A.J. was out. Tampa won when A.J. and DeVonta were out. Washington won when Jalen got knocked out of the game, and when Dallas Goedert was out. When these guys are all available, no one has beat us yet! I have a lot of respect for Kansas City, and they're very well coached. Their playmakers are better than many realize, and when they're all healthy and available too, they scheme their guys up well. With that said, this is a tough task... When our guys are healthy and playing together, stopping this offense has been a problem for teams. It feels like no matter what you take away, something else still exists to beat you. I think this is going to be a very entertaining, and just a really good game to watch. This Eagles team seems as equally focused as the 2017 team. I'm expecting another chapter to the legend of this Eagles organization within the 21st Century. I feel like we're gonna be that 3rd team that emerges during this century. the 1st was New England, the 2nd Kansas City, and I think the 3rd is emerging in Philly.

I was actually trying to think who they have defended on the interior that would pose a challenge like Jalen Carter. The only names I could think of are Ed Oliver, Cam Hayward, and Zach Allen. They played the Panthers but Derrick Brown was already on IR. It’s tough to simulate Jalen Carters power and suddenness. Not sure there are many current players that are on that category. With that said, JC’s been held a lot this year. I’m sure he is accustomed to having to fight double teams and the refs by now. 😂

One thing I would like to see this Superbowl. In the last Superbowl the Eagles played so slow, running down the game clock all the time and they never went into playing fast. I found out the strategy was to keep the ball out of Mahomes hands. I think when they play fast they play better.

Because of how often Kansas City changes their D-Line rotation, I think there is a higher probability than normal that we run some no huddle. They can always tempo no huddle, fast or slow, to attack the game clock. But if they caught them in a formational disaster, they will likely have a no huddle package and signal. The end result being, K.C. Will either have to burn a timeout to get themselves out of the situation, or hope they can tighten up in the red zone. Although, if we go no huddle, we have to convert. That’s what got Chip Kelley into trouble. You don’t want 3 and outs because you’re playing a tempo offense.

If one looks closely at the 'issue' with Jalen Hurts, it's not that he doesn't read or see the field. He has a distracting knee-jerk glance at the A-gap. And if you practice with Jalen Carter on the other side, that kinda makes sense. Of course Washington was launching Frankie Luvu through there occasionally, perhaps to keep Hurts doing that. Chris Jones affords us no more comfort there. But if Jalen can control that...which doesn't even happen when he rolls out, he may have the best arm in the league. It's just that when you see Jalen do that studder-step when the line is holding up, thinking he's gotta scramble, totally losing sight of the field, setting up the sack, it looks pretty bad. Getting sacked hard, has a way of causing a Pavlovian response. If Jalen can trust the A gap, he'll be throwing dimes all over the field.

I got to be real Future… When I played, so did I. 😂 There is nothing like immediate pressure in your face. If you were slacking during tape study, and you have a mental glitch that causes you to forget where your hot read is on that play, it’s bad news. No way of looking good unless you pull off some crazy acrobatic move to allude the pressure. Pressure through the interior is absolutely the most disruptive form. We need to be disciplined, and we need answers for Spags. I think k we all are anticipating that he is going to go down swinging at us.

My biggest concern is Spags vs. Kellen Moore when it comes to situational awareness. I don't put it past Kellen to throw in a head scratcher here or there which could be the difference in the game.

We will see. These games are tough to predict because there are two weeks for coaches to come up with the game plan. I’ll say this, it will be tough to top our offensive performance from the NFC Championship game. However, I still feel like there is another gear or dimension to this offense that we haven’t seen yet. It would be an incredible ending to the season if we unleashed that during the Super Bowl. We need them to play loose. We’re not playing with house money, but the attitude needs to feel that way. Everyone expects us to lose to this Chiefs team, and we’re the only one’s who believe otherwise. Caution to the wind, we’re playing aggressive, and if we’re going down, we’re going down swinging. If they come out with that kind of mentality, we have a team that’s good enough to beat anyone.

Possibly. They use him very similarly to the way we use Jalen Carter. He is literally all over their line. 3T, 2i, 0, 4i/4, and 5t. He’s a really good player, and they will probably do their best to get him lined up where they see or perceive there is an advantage. I think the issue is, our O-Line is so good, especially in the run game, not a lot of short comings there. However, health is a concern right now, and our IOL has not been great in pass protection this year. We’re not a bad pass blocking team, but we’re also not elite either this year.

🙏You could do a membership class subscription, I would pay to be a member and get you!! Being a care giver is toughest, I’m a cancer survivor and there are groups that were incredibly helpful, when I didn’t think it would be either.

Thank you, and congratulations on beating cancer! My grandmother was a survivor too, and I know although she beat cancer, it never left her mind. It’s crazy how it starting to affect people at younger ages now. I had a friend that I worked with, he was in his mid to later 40s, and he had colorectal cancer. It was a scary ordeal, and I remember all of trying to help him out through treatment. He was a tough guy, he would get chemo treatment in the morning, and work in the evenings.
