he is not omniscient, but he is a good student of the game, and since he lives a lot more than most (not eternal) but many generations, he knows by studying man's behavior's, psychology, intellect, how to trip you up. However, be of good cheer, a mind stayed on Christ, focused and anchored in Christ will keep you away from harms way. As Pastor Todd says, he doesn't bother w little fish, he assigns his demons to those who give him trouble. So more likely than not he is not directly involved, but he has a lot of helpers. Still GREATER is HE who is IN YOU than he that is in and of this world.

however if you are a constant worrier (trying to control what yuo cannot) the Bible gives us good wisdom here - Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. In Christ we can be confident, He is in control, and will not allow us to go thru what we are not able to withstand or are equipped for. He is our shield, He is our Buckler, we are under the wings of His protection (Ps 91).

I was living in some pretty bad mortal sin. When I repented, I felt a dark presence ejected from my head. Think of demons like bed bugs or cockroaches. Sin is the poor hygiene of your soul that lets them in. God is the exterminator. It's less scary an analogy but for Christians more appropriate.

No, the devil in the red dress cannot read your mind. Though he is seeking who he can devour and it sounds like he had free will to do what he pleases in the world.

Apparently the devil is powerful enough not to be destroyed by Jesus. Seems weird Jesus wouldn’t if he or his dad could.

It can be so hard to understand but I believe that the reason God didn’t eradicate the devil at the time of the cross was because there would have been far fewer beloveds in heaven. God was waiting for YOU to be born so he could spend eternity with you in heaven. If everything had of ended then, heaven would not be the blessed glorious gift to His Son and to all of us who weren’t born yet.

@@NoLimitsNano are you saying that life on our current Earth would have ended some 2000 years ago if Jesus killed Satan while his dad had him sacrificed? That makes no sense to me. Do you think Jesus is doing this same cosplay on the some 10s of billions of other sentient bearing planets in our galaxy alone?

I’ve thought about why God cast Satan and the fallen angels down to Earth. I think God allowing Satan and Demons to potentially eternally damn humans is a valid criticism in my mind. But then I think about how Eve and Adam played a role by listening to the Serpent in the garden, directly disobeying God. Maybe our punishment in life is to deal with Satan and his demons since humans technically participated in the downfall of the world. But then that begs the question, why didn’t God just destroy Satan and the demons instead of sending them to Adam and Eve? Maybe God knew the whole time that Lucifer would rebel and God planned on using him as a fallen angel to tempt us in life. Or maybe if Adam and Eve rejected the Serpent initially, God would have destroyed Satan immediately after that and he was just watching to see what his creation would choose. 🤷🏻‍♂️
