Can the FASTEST F1 Car of ALL TIME Beat the Porsche 919 EVO?

Two of the fastest machines in the world, the Formula 1 Mercedes W11 and the LMP1 Porsche 919 EVO, go head to head on the Nürburgring, Nordschleife. Which car is ultimately the faster of the two?

For me, in reality, if we talk only about the capabilities of each car, the Mercedes would always win. In the curve section, I make a lot of difference and I think that due to the poor visibility of the Mercedes cockpit, the driver made several mistakes and went off the track. because I could have gotten more time in the twisty area, but that's why the Porsche came out closer in the straight area and that is the advantage of the 919 evo against the Mercedes w11, the top speed, what a good video, the best I have seen but For me the Mercedes would be faster, who else believes that or who believes that the Porsche would still be faster? I know it's just a game but it makes your imagination fly.

I don't agree actually, the 919 Hybrid Evo not only has a greater top speed by several dozen km/h as seen in its Nurburgring record video but Porsche claims it produces more downforce than F1 cars and active aero not just DRS, meaning it would be able to perform better overall. You gotta remember that the 919 Hybrid Evo is just the 919 EVO but without any limitations since its a tribute to the 919 EVO while the W11 used here follows all of the FIA restrictions and rules, limiting its absolute potential.

@@alexandersheppard1489 yes of course but if you see in the lap at spa Francorchamps the entire difference of almost 0.5 seconds is made by the Mercedes in the second sector, which is the most twisty, that's why I think that in reality the W11 with its own restrictions beats the 919 which is already improved to the maximum, and I won't even tell you if the restrictions are removed from the W11, it would be overwhelming, impossible to drive

i drove both cars for +100 laps on the Nordschleife in Asset Corsa, I am pretty sure its also the exact same mods I used and the Mercedes came out on top for me by one second a lap 4:59 to 4:58 and I think that this is pretty realistic as seen in the performance of both cars at Spa where again the Mercedes did a faster lap

in real life you also have to note that the F1 car is way too fragile for the Nordschleife - hence if they did build one they'd lose some cornering performance to making the car more robust. So from a real-world perspective I think the 919 Evo would beat the real-life W11 if they built a Nordschleife-version.
