I love analogue gauges. Not only they look more pleasant and expensive/high quality to me but they're also easier on the eyes at night. I have pretty sensitive eyes. I wish more cars would offer high quality analogue gauges as an option.

lmao that's just plain wrong. My e90 has the classic red bmw analogue dials and they are harder to read than the screen in my mums benz (day and night)

how? you can reduce the brightness of the virtual cockpit or change the colors too sometimes, or just keep it minimalist. analog dials remind me of the first cars hundred years ago. very old technology. also check out the new technology in cadillac's new 2021 escalade that has actual GPS in live view mode right on the cockpit. it is amazing. it guides you as you drive in real time instead of having to look at a phone or a map. see the doug demuro video on that. great technology and the 21st century, not something from 100 years ago when cars first got started.

Disagree. We have analog dials on our F33 and the fully digital dials on our F11. The analog dials look neat but they serve no purpose. The digital dials can change appearance entirely and there are a lot of features you can see right there next to the dials on the screen which wasn't possible with analog. I was skeptical at first of the new digital, about it being more difficult to see with bright light shining directly on it but its actually a lot better. The future is now.

analog gauges > lcd dashboard. I legit hate that trend and will only accept it in cars that can rev or accelerate faster than an analog gauge can cope with. Also the only question with a G wagon that matters is: Will it off road?

LCD is Standard feature on 2020 (unlike 2019 which was standard dials with optional LCD). A handful of 2020's didn't get them because of supply.
