Which bluetti would you use to power a window A/C all day and how many solar panels would you need to charge it? And how much do you need to bank {watts) to operate the Window A/C for the nighttime?

Please one more question. Did you have to update the eb3a before you charged it? That's if you used a solar panel.
@ScottsSolarProjects Жыл бұрын
For this test, I actually didn’t use solar to charge the unit before hand. As I recall, I’ve updated the firmware at least once, but maybe twice. It was a while ago, hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

About 25 minutes not accouning for 200 watt max charging imput. Id suggest trying a 12vilt canper ac

Hey I ended getting mine to run 380w Window AC and doing what I had said about using lead acid battery bank and inverter. Then you plug BLUETTI into inverter Only works if battery is 100% for whatever reason with Air Conditioning plugged into outlets i have hooked to my inverter its uses 380 to 400 Watts. When BLUETTI is at 100% and plugged into outlet from inverter then Air conditioner plugged into BLUETTI it was only pulling 200 watts from my lead acids. So it cut the watts in half from lead acid bank. If BLUETTI is under 100% it pulls the 380w to run ac and then the 250 to charge so it pulled 600+ watts from lead acids. Would be ok because once the AC cools my RV to whatever temp I set it to ac shuts off and lead acids and inverter will charge back up the BLUETTI but best results i have gotten in my test was from my watt meter I have on my lead acids cut the watts in half. So I will be be able to run my AC all night long. I have 6 golf cart batteries 220ah each and 4000 watt inverter. I am very happy will be doing a video tomorrow maybe.

That’s cool! What brand AC are you using?
@supremeautomotive6749 Жыл бұрын
All you need to do is have your other inverter plugged into this one charging it while its being used. Like if you have lead acid battery bank with inverter you just use that with inverter hooked on lead acids that charge this thing for long run times. It would be like if solar was hooked up to it.

Did you do that? How is it doing? Is it still running correctly? How’s the eb3a

do this test again without the power bar but with eco turned off, and also in powerlift mode on,,,compare

I have one and it advertises you can charge an iphone 25 times at full charge on the unit. This is far from the truth. My iphone at 25% to full charge takes 15% of the Bluetti's power. That means you get maybe 6-7 charges on your iphone. The unit is just too small for most applications.

It will charge an iPhone 25 times. As long as it’s not the 11 onward 😂😂😂😂😂

The EB3A does what any other power station does except that it can't expand its capacity.
@Ritterkritterz Жыл бұрын
Did you try the a/c on low?
@ScottsSolarProjects Жыл бұрын
It's been a while so I don't recall. But, I remember the issue being that I didn't plug the AC directly into the power station, it was running through a power strip. Once I plugged it directly, it worked just fine!

That EB3A has a lot of issues, most concerning is the overheating that happens during charging.

Well I see everyone says that but have not had that issue

So far I haven’t had any issues with it either.

i charge mine with 100w solar panel i get 55-70watts maybe you're talking about turbo charging or socket grid charging at 200watts everything charged at such rate will really heat up.

Eenour pa600 pulls 200-300watts every 5 minutes for about 1 minute and then goes down to 20watts from the cooling fans running inside. That is after an initial cool down to reach 61* Fahrenheit. It’s most efficient at 66-68*. That’s with outside temperatures at 85-90* Fahrenheit.

Why would you even make a video about this? To what, prove something can't do something it was intended to do... 🤦🏼♂️ Try making beneficial content to show people how to use it and what it CAN be used for not what it can't. Smh

Thanks for your feedback! I’ve already made other videos about the EB3A. This one in particular shows what it is capable of doing. And to some people (like me), we find this type of content interesting. Have a good day! 👍🏼

it could run even longer if you set the air conditioner to a reasonable temp like 76 to 74 and have solar charge at the same time, you want to over power your solar it will only allow 200watts in solar so get bigger like 300watts or more so even on a bad day your getting good solar, and it could run for hours cause the air conditioner won't be on all the time.
@corydonaldson1192 Жыл бұрын
It's great for fast charging but uses more watts for output for some reason. My rockpals 300w smokes this thing in terms of performance and battery life
