I have really enjoyed the Gen 3 in the twisties. Not as fast as the GSXS 1000 was, but as fun, just different.

The road capability of the KLR is surprising. Years ago when I lived in So Cal, I was riding my then V-Strom 1000 around some canyon roads in a rather "spirited" manner. Out of nowhere this guy laps me on what I thought was a dirt bike. Got my groove on and caught up with him. Yep. Gen 1 KLR.

Looks like some fun roads you're on! At age 54 I just bought my first motorcycle, a 2023 klr650s and am learning tons on it. Cant wait to do some real adv rides.

I’ve been giving my 23 Adventure hell on these Colorado asphalt and dirt passes and canyons. She ripped Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain NP during an epic windstorm, and so far has performed wonderfully; better than my expectations. I love my KLR.

Picked up a 22 for 5300. Stock except for center stand. Out of the box these are such good bikes. Suspension is near perfect for my 140lbs. Enjoy the bike!

@filippocorti6760 got it from a guy who bought in 11/22 and it sat in his garage unused due to a health issue. Still had all the dealer paperwork and bill of sale and new t-rex center stand.

Thanks for the update 😊 I'm very interested to see how things work out for you and your KLR 😊 i really like your talks, topics, levels of discussion 👍 I'd hate to be on a bicycle with that U-Haul going down the road 😐

Hey man I'm looking to get my first street bike soon and I'm curious about the fuel injected klr's. Found your videos about them. Great work giving as much info about the bike and how your experience has been with the mods. It's refreshing to see a klr video that doesn't dwell about the antiquated tech!

With all these Japanese dual sports, Leave them stock they run and ride way better, throw a slip on it and call it a day.

New is relative right? I've seen new used '23 models for that price. If I'm not mistaken with the kawi rebates they are that price right now as well. Join the fb forum page and see everyone sharing their dealer prices. It's astonishing.

They despite what folks say. I typically cruise about 80. Granted there's about 15 mph left of wiggle room at that. Most guys are swapping to a 16t front sprocket to help accommodate those speeds. If you can find one to test ride, I implore you to do so

@berttompkins9096 Жыл бұрын
They easily cruise at 80. 72 mph is sweet spot due to high front fender.lower it and wind won't affect it so badly. This bike is also brutal fast on dirt fire roads. I've done 85 on dirt. Dohhh
