CAN THE NUMBER π BEAT POKÉMON? | Pi Plays Pokémon Sapphire - Stream

Welcome to this experiment, where the number π controls Pokémon Sapphire via its digits.
Inspired by the age-old question of "Can you find the entire works of Shakespeare in Pi?", and more recently by Mutekimaru Channel (Fish Plays Pokémon) and obviously TwitchPlaysPokemon, we aim to see whether there is a "game-winning sequence" inside well-known mathematical constants.
Every digit between 0-9 is mapped to a button and fed into the game per each second, making the number in question automatically play the game.
This project is streamed on Twitch, running 24/7 on a Google Cloud server.

I don’t suppose we know the total number of encounters Seth’s had, do we? Would be interesting to know if three shinies is over or under odds.

​​​@@autumnphillips151 We can make an estimation based on sceptiles level. Sceptile before may is level 83, so using it's growth rate formula we get that it should have won about 590k experience. If it fought mostly zigzagoon, wurmple and poochyena, which have a base experience of about 55, and were level 2-4, the average experience per encounter is 23, dividing gets us to 25.7k encounters won before May. This doesn't account for encounters after may and lost or fled encounters. (I did it before May because the reduced number of pokemon available to fight makes it easier to calculate an average experience earned).
