I am hoping to high hell they bring Anthologies back but as a full-time game mode. Having turns that were no longer than 15-20 seconds, no hand traps, no skill drain, and the game played at Synchro-era speed was fan-fucking-tastic.

I just buy or make anime/character and archetype/theme decks these days. Whether they suck total ass, play well enough, or end up pretty optimal doesn't matter to me. I mainly play GX and 5Ds era yugioh anyway. Vrains is the only new style I like cuz its trying to go back to basics. XYZ and Pendulum are way to exhausting to deal with and handle. I like simple.

Just got into master duel cuz a friend wanted to get back into it. And the amount of duels where you watch someone play alone for 5 mins just to surrender when one thing goes wrong is insane. I literally went on a 4 game winning streak where I summoned no monsters. Just ppl surrendering bc they made a mistake or I negated their combo then instantly leaving lol game was much better when synchros where the new toy imo

Nah he’s not wrong. I was at home playing just yesterday and several I messed up one guy’s summoning and he quit. Another guy and I dueled with like loaner decks during that monster event thing. He drew a hand and just quit. One duel I also messed up and summoned the wrong monster not understanding the effects while trying to build a certain deck for myself and thought about quitting cause I knew he had me next turn… but NO! I’m like you just gone have to BEAT ME!!!

@@quavowright6809 That really sucks. I actively avoid using a lot of those cards because honestly... you didn't win using them. You cheesed it. I don't mind decks having dirty tricks, take the Elemental Heroes, they have some of the dirtiest tricks in the game. They also have weaknesses, and not everyone uses them. But when you play four games and three of them are say labyrinth with the cheap staples... adding in 7 minutes just to have your entire turn negated. That is not fun. Even the other guy won't remember it.

The way the opponents played those duels, taking forever spamming negates and then rage quitting when you turn the tide, is the bery reason I uninstalled and haven’t looked back. Game is in such a sad state and I don’t think it’s recoverable

Fun Fact: The first ever Yugioh Card was the Blue Eyes White Dragon that was released in 1999 in Japan, the main focus was Blue Eyes due to it being the most popular appearance at the start of Yugioh, therefor easily recognizable.

As a dark magician player the only criticism I have for a pure deck was not running the quick play fusion spell as it really increases your fusion ability and damage in battle phase.
