It’s fun watching Jolly for me because he plays the game so differently to me so I get to enjoy a new perspective! I’m in year 2052 or something with my hometown Red Sox and enjoy finding and developing prospects, so I don’t do the wheeling and dealing as much! It’s fun to watch :)

I’ve played this game for years but I’ve never done a sim longer than like 15-20ish years in the future. I honestly start to get sad when I get to years where prospects a full decade younger than me are aging out of baseball and so I make a new sim. 😅

@ hahaha I can’t blame you there! I usually always find a new player I love and want to see them make the bigs! The draft and amateur signing day are like holidays to me, so it’s funny when Jolly isn’t all that fussed haha. Identifying a player in IAFA who goes on to lead the Red Sox in all time home runs for such a legendary organization was maybe the best feeling I’ve had in gaming! (When I see he’s done it of course, not when I signed him for the first time. I had no clue he would be that impactful)

@ that makes sense. I feel the joy I get thinking “what if The Yankees had made the smart move and gotten Harper” and “what if The Angels signed pitching during Mike Trout’s prime?” is similar to you drafting someone and a myriad of possibilities open up.

I very much enjoy seeing some OOTP content of someone playing how I like to play: Making a fantasy sim of baseball and creating your own “what if” scenarios with unpredictable problems you have to solve.

The lack of a positional rating doesn't mean they can't play that position, just that they don't have any experience there yet. Someone like Henry Davis could actually be a solid 1B. if you start him there during spring training, his experience/rating there will grow much quicker. Cheers
