It didn't get stuck!! I nearly got stuck in a Ford Edge ST on a similar road. Just because it has clearance does not necessarily mean in can actually go off-road. I always thought cross-overs were designed to be sedans that don't hit the parking blocks at the mall. Great video can't wait for the next one.

Like the 2016 q5 and the 2017 to today sq5, the porche macan uses a permanent awd system with 3 differentials. The difference is that will the audi has a more moderate torque split, the macan is more rear biazed but both in the off road modes split the power equally. This is system in audia lqnguage is the torsen awd quattro and since q5 and macan is the same platform, macan uses a verison of this as well. The difference between a cayenne or a land cruiser or a land rover discovery or defendr is that these vericles give you the option off locking the diffs manually and oermanttly if you like while the macan audi system locks and unlocks the center diff automatically and relies on TVVB to contribute power left to wright only as it cannit lock the rear nor front diff. The do not also have a low range nor the cayenne has, but fundamentally the basic idea and construction is the same. That is, its a permanent awd system using diffs and not clutches and open diffs like a haldex system. So to say a tirsen quattro and a macan are not giod offroading is just stupid. The problem is the ground clearence and the tires. With the air suspension high and with a good set of all terrain tires these can go to 95% percent of places they need to go as suvs. The only better alternatuve off road in their class is the disco sport and range rover velar which in thise too, cannot manually control the diffs nor they have low range. If you want something more serious you need a cayenne or gle off road pack and for hard core stuff you need 4runner land cruisers defenders wranglers off broncos. But we are talking hobby like stuff, the ones you go on purpose to ger stuck.
