You have to change the scheme on how we play on offense. And really overall. We need to be more at the moment dominate type on offense. Put fear in other defenses and run 3 plays we hold our hat on that they can’t stop and then add additions to those plays that look the same. And run it over and over yet with wrinkles. Then geno n Dk and Jsn will flourish then all the talk Will stop. I know! This team hasn’t done that at all for years and started with Pete and John. Now it bleeds on the fans, media talking so much and not really thinking it’s how we play and what we do. Like since it’s copy cat league. Why can’t we play like KC, Bal, Bills, GB and make the offense the powerhouse and watch how the defense/special teams excel of that!

And by the time it gets there (another 1-2+ years), is Geno still where he is, or is he regressing as he pushes closer to 40? Just a hard spot to be in when you are trying to win a Super Bowl

John should've attempted this awhile back when RW was demanding all that money.We need to groom a QB and not just shove him out there to sell tickets. A big question becomes how to find your long term qb. The idea that you're going to draft your next qb and he is going to step in and start is not realistic. We need to keep Geno for 3-4 more years and train up a replacement. We're going to need to test out qb's like Howell, Hall and other over the next few years.

The question is not whether Smith has the ability to win a Superbowl, for his part he is more than capable. The question for so many average to just above average teams is whether or not the team has the coaching talent to coach a quality QB to win a Superbowl. Seattle does not have the offensive coaching talent to lead any team with any QB anywhere near a Superbowl. They can’t even successfully manage to develop consistency week to week to prepare the team to win in regular season games. Geno has been self coaching to his limits and it has mitigated some of the coaching shortfalls, but obviously he can’t do it alone. Moving on from Smith is the dumbest decision Seattle could possibly make in the next two years. Fix the offensive coaching , figure out the O line and find a quality backup qb who can carry bags under Smith for next 2-3 years and stop all this nonsense about throwing the baby out with the bath water. We have QB and a head coach, everyone else is disposable and interchangeable or can FO and try their luck on a different team ✌️

Well, after the TNF game, Geno can pack his bags. He's mediocre. His 2-5 wow throws a game. Don't make him a great QB. He is not worth his cap hit next year. It's time to roll the dice at QB and see if there's a diamond in the rough out there. Worst case, you suck and have a top 10 draft pick in 26, which will be a loaded QB class. In the best case, you either find your next bridge or franchise QB. What this organization can't do is bring Geno back out there and expect a different outcome to the season.
