I feel like the best spine crawler rush strategy has to be overlord doom drops of drones, because you can tech to overlord goop and send them in, heck you could even send some queens in with drops too. Sneakily building spine forests at the nat and main

For the last game that he could have won, Harstem should have used banelings burrowed in the area that is likely to be marine drop then unburrow when all of the marines had been unloaded. This could have saved him a lot and also win the game.

I found that rushing to lair on 1 hatch (instead of proxy hatch) and proxying 3 spines with ~6 lings escort outside their expo made them instantly leave sometimes. I think it's significantly faster than a hatchery proxy. Although that is vs protoss. Certainly seems like a challenge vs terran when they can get repairable bunkers, marauders, and siege tanks.

@@rompevuevitos222 If he takes the time to kill the spines he loses all his probes to the Zerglins, if he follows them up the ramp he has nothing to defend the wall from spines and new lings flooding in. It’s not even controversial, the reason they build a wall is because it’s normally gg as soon as the lings get in, but Harstem gets scared and runs them out again.

IDEA: tumor bait. take a queen and an overlord to every base location and place a tumor on each spot. Next, have units burrowed just outside of scan range or just hiding in the shadows so when they come in to kill the tumor you rush them. This will get you some free units while also making them afraid enough to have to bring half their army just to kill a tumor.

This is the result of terran bio reaching critical mass with a concentrated force. The counter is splash damage of sufficient quality or quantity. When I play protos I make sure I get storm right away against terran and that works well because I can also feedback the medivacs. With zerg I'm not sure but I think either upgraded banes or lurkers are needed with hydras to counter the bad ass bioball. When serral plays he throws huge quantities of units away against it.

Not really convinced in the Terran games. It seems a lot like baneling busts where even if you bust the entrance you rarely have enough to finish the game and unless you are Dark you can't play against Terran from behind. If you insist on the gimmick of a spine crawler, it seems like it would be more effective to just nydus rush and build the spine crawlers from the queen creep rather than a slow push through the front.

I would play on a map.. and do a timing test, Hatchery build... and crawler walk... techncially you only need drones there, and yo ucan once your hatch up top is full, jsut stream drones and zerglings down constantly... and an overlord can base the ground. and with two overlords and walking your early queeens down it might be slightly faster.... A proxy hatchery does give yo ufast lings and drones ot hte front line... but this also allows fora duel base uptop and if you fail at the push you can simply jsut switch gears... Many times when I see you quit from teh craler thing is the game isn't lost, jsut hte crawler win is lost, lol

FOr 150 minerals one less queen I think adding roach bombers in the back ground for buildings with crawlers would be really good... 6-8 lings shorter, but you build 3-4 bombers.. and cna aid in remote shooting the structures which I htink you would get more peopel quiting, when you take out the infrastructure or force their army ot pus hint othe crawlers.. hmm lots of poitns to try.
