The lights at those points where you put those Overlords in the last match give me the impression of a giant overlord shadow being projected into the sky. Like a batman signal for the Zerg. Then the game units standing next to it have idea that anyone is there.

I remember maining Protoss in Plat for weeks on end and then trying Terran for a bit and making it to Diamond at level 6. I was so disgusted by myself that I've only ever played random since.

rly? I have the opposite experience. I had plat with terran and then tried toss and got plat immediately after 5 quali matches. Though, when playing terran I was mostly focused on general macro, such as building workers/bases, spending money, etc, which works the same way for protoss. Still, just dumb stuff like stalkers into carriers got me plat. I did not know any buildorders, had no idea about making protoss walls etc. I am not even sure that I knew that stargate requires cybercore when started

I had the exact same experience switching to Zerg. I guess it has to do with being way more experienced and knowing the weaknesses of your main race.

@@Kurkora_ for me zerg was hard. I even had difficulties spending money. Especially, when you play zerglings, you need to inject like mad. Then, it is hard to get used to the fact that not many units shoot up

@@Kurkora_ With zerg it was hard for me to realise that one builds bases just to produce units, because after playing terran, the idea that once you build a base you need to saturate it with workers stuck hard in my head. It was also hard to understand how many queens I need and what they are actually used for: for creep, for injects or for fighting air. Another thing is that it feels like they have a more complicated tree of technologies, which involves 2 upgrades of the main building. This is not something that you have for terran and toss.

@@dmitry5319 I also have trouble spending my money sometimes but it's not all that bad to have a bit of a bank as zerg because you can spend it very quickly if you just focus on making larva and more bases and in doing so you're accidentally macroing and expanding way more than your opponent. I also found ZvZ quite trivial at the lower leagues. If you just make zergling and banelings and focus on microing them more than your opponent you're gonna end up with more lings and more mmr.

Protoss players GG against cheese because first off, we’re just here for a good time and want to use our cool alien race. But more importantly, we’re smart and realize you don’t get bonus MMR for playing “standard” builds, unlike these sweaty Terrans who spend their entire lives trying to copy a HeroMarine build. I think Protoss GG because the scout is a big part of the race. If you loose against a cheese is your fault, you don't scout or react correctly. Protoss have a lot of competences to learn to be good. So Protoss now that he is bad. In the other hand, a terran never scout and always does the same. To be good with terran you only need a very solid macro and micro. So if they lose it's only because Protoss OP. They don't understand why you can A+move (despite the fact that they A+move way more) and still win. They know only 2 skills (macro micro), so they don't know that they suck! This is why Terran complain all the time, they don't understand why they loose because of the lack of knowledge, so they need a scapegoat to be reassured

It's very low compared to his protoss MMR, he would have a 98% win rate at that level if he would play seriously with protoss. It is however his actual zerg MMR level.

A top 50 GM is a whole new league compared to 5.4K MMR, and top 10 pro players is yet another league compared to top 50 GM. I heard those rarely do ladder anymore, the system doesn't work at their level.

I also had the idea that protoss gg more often as they did not invest much effort into the game anyway, so they are less upset when they lose (I played sc2 myself a bit for terran and then got the same mmr with protoss immediately from 5 quali matches, so I would subscribe for protoss being easier, at least in platinum league). The argument that people that invest more time get more professional and hence more polite, I believe, refers only to actual professional players. In fact, there are many pro players with not very professional attitude. For example, Kas rarely admits his mistakes, instead whining about the balance or buildorder luck

I think zerg cheeses might be more effective because they have played the least cheese from zerg than the other races. I mean everyone runs into cannon rushes right? Protoss players GG the most because they spent the first 8 years of SC2 playing nothing but 1 base all-ins and cheeses in PvP so at this point they're so desensitized to the type of builds that the other races find the most offensive that they GG even under the most frustrating of circumstances. Not only were they victim to the most BS in their mirror matchup, but they legitimately had one of the strongest A move death ball late game army comps for a long time too, so Terrans and Zergs would rather all-in as well than play against their face roll late game comps. In general, if you're going to play Protoss you just have to put up with a lot of crap.
