Thanks for the review!! It’s great to see a rider a honest opinion👍💪 You could see his excitement on his face!!

Lol, not trying to be mean here, but feelings aren't helpful when people are trying to truly evaluate a bike. If that guy is 6' 2", there is no way he weighs 230lbs, more like 270-300. Would be helpful to have an accurate weight.

It always impresses me when a human with a body type like this can ride decently. 👏

6'2" 300lbs NO! 🤣😂 sounds exactly like me. I stopped checking when I seen 250-260lbs lol but same height Thank you and this is an actual review and more realistic; more people need to see this. Many of us that use to ride motocross mid-late 80's early-mid 90's are getting older and yes, weight gain happens. I was 160lbs in my prime working out and fit, sixpack and all. Now not so much

Yea that bike looked like it fit Dom pretty well without any big guy mods. I'm 6.5 at 260 and have a prosthetic on my left foot. No shifting gives me hope.

Thanks for the commitment to purchase a Stark and continue to ride and test it over time. The rest of the industry media has mostly dropped the ball on this and SwapMoto is rising to the top. Great format.
@daneg5 ай бұрын
the rest of the industry doesn't own a Varg. iirc, swap paid for his. apples to oranges in that regard (MXA was very vocal that Stark wouldn't let them keep the bike for long term testing and only wanted to do special days). but I'm 100% with you on the getting long term feedback being a great thing. :)

As much as I’m anti E-Bike this sounds like it might be exactly what our sport needs to grow in areas that will bring new people into our sport, now they need cool introduction events bringing outsiders in to experience these bikes. Stark NEEDS to get creative in their marketing, to many people think they are trying to replace our beloved Gas bikes, me included sounds like this could be huge if they change their strategy. Thanks for being creative in what you do ❤🙏

Not trying to be a jerk, but why are you anti e-bike? I understand if you don't want one of your own, but not liking options for others to the point of being "anti" is something that I don't understand. For some riding conditions/sytles I can see why the current range could be a problem, but for track riding they seem like amazing rides. In a race, I want to have the bike that allows me to go the fastest in the easiest way. These bikes seem to deliver on that. In a few years, when you can get a full day, or more, of riding on a charge, and tracks have infrasturture to "fill up" while I grill my lunch, I can't see the downside. Do I love the song of a two-stroke being wound out on a track? For sure. Though I also like to think about having places to ride closer to the city, and not having to work on a bike unless it is a project for fun. Honestly interested to understand this more.

@@MarcSherwood Because buying one makes you part of the problem! If one buys their sh*t then they can't force them on us in the future. Look at 4-strokes, same thing happened and in my opinion ruined the sport. The cost of entry is now out of most average peoples hands. F8ck e-bikes and anyone that promotes them!

I am tyring to work out the potential savings around fuel, parts, and such. I did the same exercise when we bought our first EV, and the savings covered the cost of the lease. TBH, I really wish that manufactures like Stark offered a leasing program. The progression in the technology is so fast that I don't want to keep it around for over two years. Where ICE bikes seem to just get new graphics and smaller changes, the electric bikes of this year, will seem like a flip phone in two to three years time.

@@MarcSherwoodleasing dirt bikes?? Get real. Imagine the shape they would come back in. Sounds like a lot of mental gymnastics to convince yourself that electric is better.

@@chupacabraracing181 I've got many old MX bikes that I've rebuilt, and love, but I also want the best performance and lowest maintenance possible. That is where electric wins. And yes, leasing. You might want to own an old phone, I don't. You don't have to have an EV. Also keep in mind most people that buy new bikes are older , have disposable income, and don't ride their bikes nearly as much as we all dream that we will.
