What do you about the Stark Varg Electric dirt bike? Comment below

Love the idea, range is definitely low. Also I worry about a hard crash and breaking the screen and or the power selection buttons and how long to get parts. Solid review guys. Looking forward to more on the varg

Same even a simple tip over has me really nervous. Thanks for the comment

Probably a good idea to wait for V2

The negatives really hold this back for me... will wait on more development before i ever pull that trigger. Great review!

its a cool idea and I see it as an option but I will keep my 125 2s. Nice to see someone actually have a foot break on it. good opinions too. nice video.

Thanks, it’s an interesting and fun bike but we still have a few 2Ts in the shop

Put a hand rear brake on and you won’t need a clutch . I don’t know why everyone is so hung up on a clutch . It’s a waste of time

Clutch - "device that connects and disconnects the engine's power" Brake - "device that inhibits motion by absorbing energy from a moving system" Clutch ≠ Brake

some people actually like foot break if you didn't know.

Regarding hard Enduro, watch Eddie Karlsson winning an extreme enduro event a couple of weeks ago with the Stark. I think he managed to do a couple of pivot turns as well. Also: Try the hand brake. It helps a lot with control. A clutch on that bike would probably introduce more issues than it would solve
@dirtbikesam7 ай бұрын
Yeah I have managed to do some smaller pivot turns and I’ll keep working on it. The power being so easy and linear really slows you to keep great traction without killing the bike or lighting up the rear wheel.

Glad to see a test of this bike it seems to be the 1st real dirt bike. I subcribed, I haven't watched the whole video but I'd be very interested to know the battery life on a med setting. I race Enduro and our races are 2 hours for A and B class
@dirtbikesam8 ай бұрын
Thank you for the support. Yeah we are also really interested in how long it will actually last and yes it actually feels and handles like a real dirt bike with a few differences on how the power is delivered.
@neilorange41128 ай бұрын
@dirtbikesam ya and in the woods that makes a difference for example I had always rode 4 strokes and recently I bought a 03 kx 250 and built the best woods bike I could, fly wheel weight reeds pipes everything from the a bare frame and it works very good on flat tracks but I live in central VA and a good part of our races are in the mountains and I can't get used to not having engine braking. I think I could get used to no clutch because I have had a auto clutch on most of my bikes, does the stark have any type of rolling resistance when you let off the gas of is it free spinning
@dirtbikesam8 ай бұрын
Yes you can adjust the regenerative braking from 0-100% and it definitely is like engine braking.
@BarrettMeeker8676 ай бұрын
Totally disagree on needed the clutch at least for hare-scrambles and motocross. Try the hand brake it’s really great.

Well said boys , I agree the weight , phone , no graphics , the bullshit gold lettering . If these items were addressed the bike will come down 2 ~3 thousand dollars. I have seen these things in person and I do see alot of quality, however the plastics are Chinese level . Waiting for the Japanese versions to come out , which will be just as good , lighter and cheaper.
@dirtbikesam8 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s way too spendy but unfortunately that’s to be expected these days. I am also worried about destroying the plastics and the phone. Surprised Honda hasn’t announced a 2025 E
@SamuelGunnestad8 ай бұрын
I disagree about the quality of the plastics. I think they are quite good. I crashed into a tree in winter (temp about -5C) and bent the front fender all the way to the number plate without destroying the fender. That's quite impressive and I haven't seen that with my other bikes since the old Yamahas. (I've had Sherco SE 300 Factory, Beta Xtrainer and Yamah WR since then). What's a bit annoying about the plastics is that they are so shiny that you can see the wear

No need for a clutch , better throttle control is required
