Can the T-WOLVES WIN the WEST?

I think that the Minnesota T-Wolves are favorites in the NBA Western Conference. Not because they have the best record at the moment but because they have the roster to play multiple different styles, including “bully ball”. But ESPN had a segment on “First Take” where “sleepers” were discussed and there were several different opinions on the panel. The Pelicans, The Warriors and The Suns were looked at as sleepers. We dissect all of those possibilities.

Two things can be true… I consider the Minnesota Timberwolves as the favorites in the West and to someone else, they would be a sleeper because of their youth.

If KAT is healthy, then the T-Wolves are my favorite to get out of the Western Conference. They have the bigs (KAT, Gobert). They have the elite two-guard (Anthony Edwards). They have Mike Conley running the show and they have depth and length at the 3 and 4. It is really close in the West though. We'll see.

To most, it’s a toss up… but the Wolves give all the problem teams “problems”. They can handle the Clippers and the Nuggets and they matchup well with the Thunder.
