There is already a small conflict between the Mexican cartels and the USA. The same cartels are being fed by China according to Vanda Felbab-Brown. Its the push for communism and control over people. Haiti has been pushed to put a gun ban by china and the U.N. while it is against "gangs" at the moment it will soon be controlled by a militarized government. It would be wise to not be naive of people who do not care for your desires for peace. who value control more than peace. I would agree war is the last thing the world needs but Communism/socialism disagrees with who should control that peace if it should be controlled. The United States in the past 2 years invited over 3 million illegal immigrants who have not been vetted. Who is allowed to vote in some states (not presidential elections so far). Q: If Russia were to "fall", would it make sense for China to try to turn on Russia to capitalize on their resources of oil, Ag, gold, etc.?
@michaellane1316 Жыл бұрын
A point that many might miss. Good vision sir. Although this hopefully does not escalate beyond this. If we all knew the total history then it might be a bit more digestible. Am not sure China and Russia have had any issues before but given the fact China wants as many resources as it can get says this may be in the cards somewhere. China's land mass is not that large if one looks at a map. Population density yes, is large. So is India. Russia, through the ages seems to be hell bent on wearing the pants in some sort of sense. When they decimate their own population or throw them out to be slaughtered, says one thing, someone wants control, and at any cost. It's the age old intention every little johnny wants what someone else has mentality. China, somewhat the same mentality. If you think giving Russia it's bit of land is going to keep them happy, think again. Same with little johnny. He'll be happy as he fades to his corner until he looks again and realizes he wants more. I don't believe Russia has ever any intention of giving up all of it's toys, (land), at any time. Cabin fever for 6 months of the year can not be good. We, meaning the peoples of this world, have had them through the ages and I am sure they will continue to pop up as time goes on, these little men, sometimes women, that have that little johnny mentality to have all the toys in the sandbox. This is merely my own view of whomever is doing this across the globe. What the world could use is an elite group of what I would term as, caretakers, of this planet. Solidified by all nations under only the guise of survival, to eliminate any threat to mankind so that we could live in peace. I am sure many would prefer this than all of the wars and atrocities through the ages.

I would argue evolution is pulling the string and inevitable because intra and interspecific competition is innate in every single organism. Being a apex predator, at the top of the food chain, there's no reason to believe that war can be avoided. World economic control is the name of the game and military is what provides access to this. The West has enjoyed the good life a very long time and now couple countries in the east want what we got. From ancient times to modern there's been war. Empires weren't built by handing out flowers. War will never stop. Ants have been at war for over 100 million years. No species gives resources unless forced to

It's a catastrophic meatgrinder, no way around it. Zelensky disposed of people from high command for reasons only known to them and sent additional units to Bakhmut AFTER the crux of the units in Bakhmut (foreign mercenaries, spec ops) retreated & destroyed bridges etc. Wagner is advancing day by day and the fall is inevitable, Ukraine can cope as much as it wants that Bakhmut is irrelevant but they lost way too many units to be making such claims. The only problem I see is that its very clear that the US losing a conventional war is highly unlikely which I fear increases the likelihood of a general nuclear exchange if we were to ever engage with another nuclear power.
@RickySpanish12344 Жыл бұрын
That's why if a conflict did break out, both the U.S. and the other nuclear power would stick to targeting military targets, and not going after leadership or launching massive assaults on essential infrastructure. In other words they fight with the knowledge they don't want the other nation to feel like they have nothing to lose by using nukes. You want them to know they may lose the military conflict but the nation itself won't be conquered. Lets say a war broke out with the U.S. vs China over Taiwan. The conflict would probably be a naval/air conflict without targets on the mainland being hit.

Nuclear weapons would not be as effective as people think. Delivering them across distance would be the first challenge that many countries would not be capable of performing. Then trying to get such a missile active in the combat zone that is of a scale that would damage the opposition would be even more complicated for the vast majority of countries. Pretty much any country could set of a nuclear detonation for the cameras but trying to do that in warfare is of a different level of complexity.
@GrimJerr Жыл бұрын
@bighand69 Not even talking nukes, and I never said nukes. The U.S. has weapon systems that are much more accurate and tactically effective than nuclear weapons. The modern technical battlefield is about pin point accuracy, and strategical strikes, surgical efficiency.

No one wants to add nukes to the equation, even at a tactical level. Simply put, once nukes are an option then all bets are off and things can get out if hand in the blink of an eye. Russia will probably win this war in Ukraine by sheer weight of numbers alone, but then what? They won't be in a position to affect anything in terms of their military for some time. Assuming China is in the state that Peter says they are, they have one chance to gamble on a military move, and that won't be directly against the U.S. I think they move on Taiwan, but that's a gamble as well because then you have the U.S., certainly Japan, and probably the Brits and Aussies all getting involved too. Peter's assessment of the Chinese actually concerns me as it would appear that they may become desperate as their strength declines; however, would they have the means to hold onto anything gained?
